Europa League Final

Alright our tweet was a nice gesture, some will say there's no place for it in football and some will say it represents what our city has just been through. The response below though...This is why tweets from our club are wasted on them:

The 24/7 scum obsessed media will milk this for all it's worth and all this shite might well keep its 700 trillion worldwide fan base happy, but every now and then you have to stand back and ask yourself, does anyone other than a rag infested loon think they are any good? Does anyone other than those who know fuck all about football actually enjoy watching what they serve up? Marvel at their skills? And more importantly get excited by what these fuckers actually do on the pitch?

That's not the official rag twitter feed is it?

Whatever it is pretty lame when they could have tweeted sometime positive for the entire city.

Not obssessed with "little city" are they?? i fuckin hate them ****s with a passion which runs so deep

Some might get offended by the tweet but I don't think football should have anything to do with what happened, it's a nice gesture to put rivalries aside(the clubs and the players at least) for a few nights but it shouldn't feel forced.

In any case we are home ffs we are City... the real Manchester club. Why on earth did they turn a nursery rhyme into a football chant anyway, so cringey.

Alas in years to come the records don't show how poor the competition was only who won it.

It's difficult every year, we have improved from last year though and we will improve again next year as a team with new fullbacks being huge for us :)

When will people actually accept the full back issue is not the problem it is missed chances from our so called great forward players that cost us the title !

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour by the Rags.

If City players did someting similar, which I very much doubt, the club would issue an apology.
That's a point whether you're offended by it or not... you know they would be all over it, saying look at what the City players did everyone.

Our full backs have been one of our many issues, hopefully Gabriel, Sergio and possibly Sanchez all together will rectify the issue with our finishing

Why are people bothered? The best barometer to judge a team is the league, and the league showed they were the 6th best team last season, which isn't good enough by their standards. The great Brian Clough said it best in that famous interview with Motson, about the priorities of the season, and he said 'the football league. Always has been, always will be', and he's right, because that's the toughest competition and shows where you're at. There's a lot of work to do for that team to challenge for the title. They've beaten a load of teams that would struggle in the Championship, then a young Ajax side, who's naiviety showed against experience. We're in a much better place then they are going forward.

just the two sides scored more than us, our problem started a little further back than the full backs.

He's right though, the fullbacks will be fully part of the attack, the ones we had didn't have the legs or the technical level for it.

I get what you are saying we still created chances and didn't score right? Well we will be creating more chances and even clearer chances at that. That is going to make a big difference on it's own the mistakes will also be fewer with players more comfortable in the system, there's nothing worse than coming up against a stubborn park the bus team and ending up chasing the game. Finally even before we have any new signings we have Jesus, Aguero, Sané, KDB(woodwork will become goals in no time) Gundogan, Sterling can hopefully regain some scoring form. More chances, better chances, less probablity of ending up chasing a game = less pressure, more goals.
