Looks like a goodbye to me. Tho, he had the same attitude last year, VS PSG. You can see it her, after the penalty kick, he look at the ultras with a nostalgic face.



At this moment we all guessed that he will leave for City, and even if it didn't end up, later in the season, he admit that it was almost done.

I think, as for silva, nothing is decided yet. Monaco and Fabinho/Silva still need to talk. The think you can hear, about an agreement to leave, is bullshit and biased on a statement made by Vasyliev since 4 years : They'll not retain anyone that want to leave if they got the right deal on the table.

But did Fabinho and Silva made their decision yet?
No one knows.

For Fabinho, it looks like he would want to go and play RB cause he think - or his agent may him think- that this is how he will play with Brazil. Jardim told numerous time that he will never play RB again under him -and he's right, cause he is one of the best EU, by far, as CDM, while he strugle as RB and looks like he don't even enjoy it anymore.

For Silva, the player want to stay, but he clearly said that he's not the only one to decide this (Hi, Mendes.). So it's still 50/50 for him.

We have a manager that changes the starting line up every week, add to that a move to 3 at the back wouldn't be unlikely either. I think they would all easily get enough game time, especially when you factor in injuries as well.

There's some nice odds on United there who I see as the favourites for his signature if he was to leave, which I don't even think he will.

Never say never.

We have Pep now and it's clear we will do what we can to give him what he wants.

I see this as a statement summer from City.

We got the manager last season, we will get the players this.
 
This is the dream signing. Our biggest problem is when Silva is injured/being rested our game drops an alarming amount. We rely so much on him. Signing Bernardo would allow us to rotate.

Same with de Bruyne mate? There were times last season that kev looked shattered?

Totally agree, would be a fanrastic addition and would allow us to rest Silva rather than burn him out in the season.
