I think I may have thought about moving there four years ago (Dubai is a good place to live and the rent is about 20% cheaper with similar levels of pay), but my industry isn't regulated out there and it's very much the Wild West so best avoided by anyone with a decent level of qualifications so I was forced off to Qatar instead.

It's similar, just not quite as relaxed from a religious point of view. I can't smoke, drink water or listen to music in public (including my car) during daylight hours for the next 27 days. Oh and from July a 100% "sin tax" will come in alcohol which will take the price to £20 for a bottle of Stella in a bar (so I won't be going out ever again).

Wow, that is incredible pal.

In my view all this campaign is showing is how bad a leader Corbyn is.

All the polls pretty much say that people trust Labour to look after their families more than the Tories. People just like the manifesto more than the Tories. They are split on his defence strategy.

Yet he's still somewhere around 10 points behind. Every leadership poll puts him 20 or 30 points back.

This tells me that a proper centre left leader with a Blair level of charisma and political skill would have had a Thatcher like landslide here

A Blairite candidate wouldn't have run on the sort of platform that has seen the turnaround in the polls that Corbyn has seen. Corbyn / Labour / the Manifesto come as a package - Centre Left Blairite policies have already been rejected at the polls so why refight the 2010 election?

I'd say there is a much, much clearer difference between Labour and Tories and people like what Corbyn has put forward. Not a Corbyn fan but the manifesto and his recent public performances have impressed me. May trots out the same cliches day in day out.

rubbish I have seen a strong and stable Theresa May interviewed on TV and not a chaotic coalition of................... oh hang about.............. I think you're onto something mate ..............

It's all she ever says strong and stable. Can't explain how things will be costed.

Diane Abbot on Andrew Marr now. I'm surprised Labour are still letting her out.

Its not her - its a CGI generated image operated from Labour HQ - they aren't that daft.

Oh and Marr is banned from asking any maths questions...............or any on schooling your kid..................

Ah fuck. Well Dianne Abbott on Andrew Marr basically just said she would stick with the loony policy from May and Rudd regarding getting government access to encrypted services. Really fucking disappointing. Events of terror eroding away out civil liberties yet again. Exactly what these twats want.

But you wouldn't have this Labour manifesto with a Blair clone.

Andrew Mate... "Do you regret saying that a defeat for the British State (in the war against the IRA) would be a good thing?"

Dianne Abbott... "I've changed my hairstyle and I've changed some of my views since then."

Voted against terror legislation over 30 times, together with Jezza. Also refused to proscribe a very long list of terrorist
organisations. If the country allows this woman any sort of power, and particularly Home Secretary, the future doesn't bear
thinking about.

Amber Rudd on now explaining what they are going to do to combat the terror threat - which is basically reverse a lot of the decisions taken by her boss when she was Home Secretary and re-announce old news ( 1500 new recruits for GCHQ - that was announced by Gideon when he was Chancellor thats how old that news is )

I tend to agree with Jezza on this one - we need to face reality and accept what the effect of our own foreign campaigns have on our homeland security - not pussy foot about with fake announcements that you are never going to follow through on coz it dents your "cost efficiency" plans.......

Well done Andrew for laying it out in black and white, banning end to end encryption kills the internet as we know it, and getting access to specific services is useless. Unsurprisingly she had no good answer to this.
