Sick of foam parties.
For the first five days they were ok.
The youngsters would come to pick us up and give us backies to Big Ben and Malia-Mission club land.
The crack is you get merry with them on campus as club land is expensive.
And after much Raki off you wobble to dance the dance.
House music is intense but the dance is mellow and anyway you get strobe lights to help out.
Make a prayer hand and then seperate them and cut through the air with slicing movements.
After a bit you chill out with water and then comes the foam.
Rinse repeat and we felt our jollies were slipping away from us.
So we had to change our ways..
We went for a posh meal tonight at an open air restaraunt.
Three courses for 12 euros and the best seats in the house.
I had meatballs on skewer and a steak for mains and a cheese cake.
A splendid evening of small talk and feasting.
We got merry on the wine and have just come back home.
On the balcony we loudly gave our ratings on the meal over another pack of Mythos bottles.
I thought the meatballs was rather splendid and I scored them a firm 9
Wife had tommie soup and was convinced the basil additive made it a winner scoring a 10 as her baps were luke warm.
I thought my steak was undercooked and lacked character.
She thought the fat content was disconcerting but said it was nice anyway.
My cheeses cake was served in a glass wtf ehh it came in a glass and there was nothing there to evaluate.
The other half had the same and she agreed that although Greece was having financial problems they should still be giving better portions sizes eh ?
Anway I scored 7.5 and she said 7 and was still well happy .
Then just then Graham from the balcony next door popped his head round and said he was a foodie like us : /
Apparantly they go to restauraunts back in UM and engaged us in pleasanteties concerning fine dining and etiquette.
Fact of the matter is we both would not know a spud from a turnip as we get all our scran from Iceland.
We just had to blag our way through his busy body lecture on hoers des overies and canopays and what wine goes best with chateues briiand etc etc.
Are you a foodie afficienado and do you like fine dining ?
What is you favorirete high end dish or would you sooner just get a kebab on the way home.?
