Kylian Mbappe

Because Aubameyang is much older, is in his prime, played every single game, the team plays for him, etc while Nacho is an emerging talent. Really childish question there. Of course Aubameyang is the better player in this moment.

So why say Iheanacho is more clinical?

I feel like we need a third striker, but at a much cheaper price than mbappe is rumoured to be; somebody who might offer something slightly different to Sergio and jesus but would be quite happy to just pick a wage up and stay fit. Who that might be I'm really not too sure :/

Taking money out of the equation nacho is more like Sturridge and mbappe closer to Henry - potentially in terms of style of play.
IMO Mbappe has a much higher ceiling than nacho ( who will score goals but is let down by an average first touch).
That said 100 million plus is a major risk - and he will likely end up at Madrid.

Either way I do like the buy back clauses for the like of nacho and Unal should they flourish elsewhere.

Mbappe isn't a player I would necessarily go for but it may well be a case of us having to get him now so we don't lose him to Real, we will eventually have to replace Aguero.

Antoine Griezmann is 3rd on Jose Mourinho's transfer list this summer. Alvaro Morata & Kylian Mbappe are 1st & 2nd on the list. [@DiMarzio)

Well if we are after Sanchez we can't be interested in this fella to. No way can we have so many top attacking players and keep them all happy.
I think the statement should be: No way we can have so many top attackers and keep all the fans happy. The days are over where a player can expect to play all games all the time. Pep will rotate, rotate, rotate.

Hehe true, we better stay in every sodding cup then or i'll be waiting for 'x unhappy, wants more game time'

Good point.

Jesus has also required very few chances to score since joining City & is maybe as good or better than Iheanacho's rate was prior to Pep dropping him. Maybe.

Mate Iheanacho might have a better conversion rate than Aguero but that doesn't mean he's more clinical than him. It's easier to have a better conversion rate when you play 8 games compared to someone who plays the whole season. It's possible Iheanacho might have a better conversion rather than messi but that means fuck all

You know what, if I was a top striker i would be quite happy to rotate. Sure everyone would want to play the in the finals of a competition but that is how it should be.

Why have a 8 year career playing every game if you are being paid £150k a week when rotation could give you a 12 year career, that's a lot of financial security.

Being devils advocate does anyone else think that because we cant get him this year we will offer Monaco the fee so high no other rival will be able to afford it either. Just a thought.
