You do not know her actual salary, her family, what she may have faced in her life but mention she could be on about 28K and now nearly 30k. A 2k jump in two posts.

Peggy Blue said no nurses are going to food banks, how is that known? Its not.

Say she had a partner and children, said partner becomes ill and is off work sick. Mortgage payments and other bills grow. Savings are spent. One month they do not have enough money to buy food so go to a food bank.

Is that feckless and stupid. It can happen. I heard once we could all be one months salary from being homeless. It was a statistic thrown out once.

He wouldn't have the final decision imo. If something like that happened where we absolutely had no choice then whichever leader was in charge would have to do it. He also didn't say he wouldn't do it, he just didn't answer, it's an impossible question. His answer of total nuclear disarmament should be the aim of every single leader on this planet, that is the reality. But if we're being honest:

1) Whoever drops the first nuclear bomb will not live to survive it.
2) A retaliation nuclear bomb in reality will do fuck all. Killing millions of people in another country will do nothing for the people killed it this country, thats the honest reality. They would be revenge killings which would do nothing for our country.

Operation Downfall was expected to last two years and at the cost of between 100,000 - 790,000 US troops. That's more than the total of US soldiers that died in the entire war. The number of Japanese civilians killed in bombing raids, disease etc as a result of the invasion was estimated to likely have been more than the total of those killed by both bombs.

You can see why they considered the Manhattan Project :/

I get it, he also didn't say no, that question is absolutely impossible. Whoever is in charge would have no choice but to drop one, they'd be overthrown and one would be fired anyway. Total nuclear disarmament should be the aim but all anyones ever arsed about is having a nuclear bomb in case someone bombs us (which would never happen).

I admire pacifism mate I really do, they are braver people than I am. Where Trident is concerned the question needed complete clarity and it wasn't there.

The first bomb would be to take out electronic based defences and infrastructure, also nuclear missiles are detected as soon as they are launched, giving ample time to issue a direct response in the form of launching Trident.

A retaliatory strike would be aimed at taking out their military capabilities. Trust me, Trident is enough to obliterate the whole of Eastern Europe which is the whole point. "Do we REALLY hate our enemy enough to kill ourselves?"

As soon as they fire their missiles, they KNOW we would fire ours at them....but wait, what was that you said Corbyn? Fire nuclear weapons at our enemy with NO consequnces!? Where's that button! :D

Agreed but for total inhumane reasons, he tanked because he wouldn't lie about saying he'd kill millions in a hypothetical scenario that would never happen.
