That'd be hilarious.

Yep nowt will happen once they coff up the fee
Highly likely. Maybe Soton only became offended when van Dijk came out saying he wanted Liverpool, thereby potentially reducing the transfer fee.Yeah....probably gone to £65m now.

Hard to turn down £60m+, even in the cash cow that is the PL.Dunno mate,is VVD in a position to buy himself out, last year etc?
If not, unless there is some clause,I don't see the saints budging, depending how bad the dippers want/need him.
Contract until 2022.Dunno mate,is VVD in a position to buy himself out, last year etc?

As jimharri says above that's a lot of money for a player who's just had a bad injury. I think they would want a deal at £60m. I'm just thinking that he wants the move but has been told by Liverpool to rock the boat a bit to get the fee down and Soton aren't having it. Can't blame em.Dunno mate,is VVD in a position to buy himself out, last year etc?

It could well be that. Hard to blame them, really. Get the most you can for your asset. As "lamb" said, it's a serious wedge for a player who's recovering from a bad injury. But if Liverpool are prepared to pay it, so be it.It is mate,so do the deal, don't understand why they reported them, unless they trying to squeeze a bit more out of them?
Exactly. If it's so, and you think how they trashed Sterling for wanting to better himself, it shows them up for the hypocrites they are. They probably made the complaint once they made and offer of 25m
Agree mate, thing is,I don't think the dippers a prepared to pay nowhere near £60m and are unsettling the player knowing he fancies the move, just opinion. It could well be that.
