We're not Real Madrid you know. Guardiola will be under massive pressure next season. To beat mid-table Premiership teams home and away is very difficult and I seriously doubt we will be that comfortable that we can rotate players. In the Cup games yes. But players want to play regularly and they want to play in the big games especially. You have to think we play our strongest available side against Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton etc.

But we are aiming to be like Real Madrid and clubs like that marv!!! It's this ickle city attitude we are just about to lose!!! We have the best manager in the world, the best facilities in the world, the best owner in the world and will give said manager everything he wants that we could win the champions league in the next two years! Get the rumoured signings in we could beat anyone on our day mate

I know, but the manager has to put out a the strongest 11 to win games in our league. There will be a bif of rotation but in the league games, if Sanchez were to sign realistically it would be Sane, Sanchez and one of Aguero and Jesus 90% of the time. Sterling and Aguero would be under massive pressure. I expect a huge response from Aguero. I think he is going to come back a very hungry player next season. This is what he has needed

i just hate it when people act up like jesus will bench aguero. the truth is jesus has nothing on aguero in his prime form. aguero at his best is a world superstar and the boy jesus has a long way to go to reach that level. take for example yesterday's miss against argentina aguero would have walked the ball in the net. bet next season aguero will play more than jesus.

Think Bayern under Pep when they set up like

Robben-------------------------------------Ribery

Haha only on here could people complain about signing a player like Sanchez! Kaldhoon is aiming for at least a treble next season, everyone will get game time
This! These people probably prefer us to have second rate reserves such as Navas, and then moan about his not being good enough. Come to think of it, they actually just want to moan.

Yeah but Aguero is not a shiney new toy

On the evidence of last season, Jesus would start. The coach picks the team on the basis of now not the great goals of the past. Las season City's form was radically better with jesus in the team....granted it was against weaker opponents, but we struggled in a lot of games to beat these weaker opponents.

No City fan could have escaped Guardiola's constant complain about City's poor finishing power.

The final weeks of the season when some teams were on 40 points, or others down produced some ridiculous results, but City really struggled to knock average teams down at home. I remember games where we had 70% of possession and were trying desperately to score but we just couldn't put the game away.

Indeed, hence the need for more but also better players. ;-)

This will be one of our best signings ever, takes us to another level. To win the big trophies we need experience mixed with youth and Sanchez brings a lot of experience. Signing him will make everyone better.

Puts pressure on all the other attackers to work harder and get better. More pressure on Sanchez as well to improve as he will not start every game like he did at Arsenal.

Does everyone realize there will be games where we bring on Aguero and Sane for example, not Navas and Nolito, this speaks volumes and we will be much, much better this season.

Competition is something we really lacked this season and it showed, when did Kun raise his level? When Jesus was fit and could threaten his place. We won't have a first 11 as many believe, this doesn't meant there won't be competition for places, everyone will still play and motivation levels will be at all time highs.

we ran out of steam last season if we'd beaten Monaco we'd of struggled to finish in champ league position
every season i think how we going to play all these new signings but they all get loads of game time

Is there still people complaining about signing Sanchez. Jesus christ.

Some of you chaps must not have stayed up until 2AM on transfer deadline day waiting for the signing of Mido, only for it to fall through. How we have changed.

Good luck with that.

And yet surged at the end. Depends on whether Kompany and Jesus play. Improve defence and forward line no end. Results proved it. With Kompany and Jesus City were the best, without we were top 6. Keep Kompany and Jesus and add Ederson, Silva and one or two others we will compete for trophies

Best front three in the PL.

The opposition will be shitting themselves.

I wouldn't be arsed if we paid double what's being reported. That forward line is fuckjng scary, good luck to the rest of the league.

Will take a while though, there's no way Arsenal will let him go until season tickets have been sorted.

Imagine a scenario where we are 4-0 up after an hour and instead of bringing on Navas and Fernandinho for Jesus and Merlin, we bring on Bernardo Silva and Sané, both pissed off that they didn't start.

Instead of everyone realising it's game over time to relax, instead we'll have players desperate to earn a start next week turning up the intensity when they come off the bench.

Pep made some comments about how he thought we needed to get past 2,3-0 up and push for 4,5,6-0 and then we did start doing that at the end of the season with a few 5 goal games, so I think it's something he is going to push for.
I lost count of the games we just stopped playing in

Good luck with that.
The changes we saw were repeatedly at the back where we had all kinds of problems trying to cope without Kompany and ageing full backs. I can see why he went through he whole lot including Fernandinho and Navas trying to find something that worked.

This is true, haven't thought about it like that.

Players like Silva, De bruyne, Sane and Sterling were especially ran into the ground, suffered a lot from fatigue and lack of quality back ups, finally this will all change!
