If Sanchez wants City then it puts us in decent bargaining position. Arsenal can't drag out the transfer too much as they have to crack on to find replacement for him as well.

Sane, Sterling, Roberts. Not sure given his age I would go for him. Arsenal and Barcelona possibly had his best years. He is a great player, but I am thinking that Sane and Jesus are going to be super star players for City. Roberts is very promising. Sterling is young and could easily step up. And Aguero is still scoring. I think if Aguero moves, then we will need to replace him, but at the moment I'd be looking at the full-back, keeper, and defensive midfield options.

They can wait to the last week of the transfer window until they agree to sell him.

so can we though mate? its not as if we are desperate in that position to start with? we have full backs, goal keeper and midfielder to sort urgently

no point though in them waiting imo. they could have maybe been more stubborn but once they finished 5th then they kind of lost any decent bargaining power and the board will sanction a bid of over £40m imo.
 
Reading that Tweet gives me confidence for the first time that we are genuinely in for Sanchez and the player fancies it.

Whatever happens this transfer will drag on throughout the summer I bet.
