It's Quiet - a new dawn

Yes and without the Barca- Madrid rivalry La liga will become as boring and irrelevant as the scottish league.

I reckon it opens the doorway to a European Super League with Barca leading the way.

Barca know they need Real Madrid and vice versa, so both I feel would see this as an opportunity to break away.

We as fans will have to try our best to stop this. I have no interest in seeing us play Madrid/Barca/Bayern week in week out it will take away the excitement of playing them.

I'm not sure if Catalonia gaining independence it would necessarily mean they couldn't play in the Spanish league?

FA's are run as associations and not necessarily nations. For example the UK is one nation by UN definitions, but has 4 separate Football Associations, and some clubs (like Cardiff and Swansea) reside in one country, but compete in another association.

I think the French Prime Minister offered them the chance to play in Ligue Un if Catalonia leaves.

Although even if they leave I think the Spanish FA will be keen on them staying in La Liga.

Alright thanks, can't say I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't get a cb, but the others will make up for it?

If I read Tolmie correctly this week he suggested that CB money is being held back at this point in case we really do go for one of the 100 + million pound attackers we are looking at. So, if it comes it could be late in the window.

Considering the list of attackers in the 100+ range are Mbappe and Neymar I am not so sure...

I agree with buying Sanchez, but if we are looking to bring in Sanchez plus another attacker then city's transfer strategy needs to be questioned. I highly doubt that's the case but considering there's lots of rumours about mbappe, I wouldn't rule it out.

But you think we would be idiots if we bought him?

If we bought Mbappe aswel as Sanchez it would be pure entertainment next season,I wouldn't even mind winning nothing again. The rest can bus park their way to the title while putting their fans to sleep.

Got a good mate who's a arsenal fan, he's absolutely adamant they won't sell Sanchez to us and that he will stay at least another season. He offered me a £20 bet that he will stay at arsenal, I replied with a screenshot of oddschecker sayin u might as well put £20 on with skybet, 5/2 to stay at arsenal, that's shut him right up!
