I'd of thought more TBH.

I think city might try a lower fee ie £42m but make the add ons bigger? so maybe £60m in total if we win stuff? makes it worth while to both clubs then as we will get bigger prize money and spuds get a bigger fee

£42 to £60 million for a right back.

The football world has gone seriously gone mad.

Is he good enough to make us better to win the big one. The champions league?

Spuds did not exactly do well in that last season. Not just his fault obviously.

he'd improve City significantly. The two full back positions are our biggest weakness. I don't see how we could seriously challenge for top trophies with what we had their last season

Here is the problem.... I think we'll see a back 3 in Europe as he was heavily exposed in the champions league (when he played), however, this is the whole point of going for 2 quality players in each position. He's perfect domestically but we would be an injury away from screwing with the system should anything happen. It's imperative we sign two...

Seems to me Pep has weighed up the Prem & sussed that it's impossible to win the title & challenge for the Champions League, before you even start on the cups, so he's building two teams.

No excuses then.... he's should be going deep in every comp and winning a couple of trophies, imo!

We should be right up there in the Prem imo. I think we were very close in the Champs Lg already.

But I still feel he's leaving himself wide open if he doesn't get another cb, which, imo, is the main reason why we didn't get to the CL semis at least.

I'd offer £39,932,365.49 and not a penny more. Anything else is madness.
Considering you got Mangala for 42m and a 33 year old keeper for 17m, Levy isn't going to let the best right back in the league at his peak go for less than 40m. If it does get around 40m I'm sure Levy will have appearance bonuses and potential medal bonuses come our way.

He may be a hard negotiater but the sales of Carrick, Berbatov, Modric and even Bale potentially seemed high at the time but were well worth the money.

It's better without the like button imo. You get a hive mind approach with one...just like Reddit. People shit post for likes.

I Pride this.

*It's a new thing on Facebook, I don't know how people do it mind. Not sure how it can be deemed a reaction actually, surely that would be "Proud."

BREAKING: Manchester City are set to begin official talks with Tottenham this week over the potential signing of Kyle Walker. [Sky Sports]

City's approach for Walker could come as early as Wednesday and they hope to strike a deal for as little over £40m as possible. [Sky Sports]

It's on!
