Interesting back page on the Mirror today - Aldridge publicly advising VVD to go on strike to force a move to the Dippers. Interesting change in his attitude to a player wanting a move from his public pronouncements in the Sterling debacle. Hypocrite

Hmm interesting change of opinion from our Aldo laa, at the height of the Raheem dipper media onslaught he accused Raz of disappearing up his own backside and lambasted him and his agent.

As Aldridge is employed by Dipper pool as an ambassador isn't this classed as tapping up?

They don't learn.

Laugh if VVD went on strike then signed for someone else.

If thats true and Aldridge is on the payroll of Liverpool cant Southampton report Liverpool again?

This is the exact reason these rules are in place, it's pretty shitty for Southampton that they have developed VVD and Klopp taps him up and now they are publicly calling for him to hand in a transfer request, thia excuse that everyone does it really doesn't work when you underhandedly manufacture a player uprising against a club that he signed a 5 year contract for, I really hope they get a 1 year ban...

It wasn't just Sterling either.
Former Liverpool player John Aldridge has blasted Luis Suarez for expressing his desire to leave the club, accusing the Uruguayan of putting ‘a custard put in everyone’s face’.
‘There’s a massive lack of loyalty there and especially the way Liverpool have stuck by Luis. Not everything’s all about money,’ Aldridge said on Radio 5 Live today.

He's the epitome of their offended by everything, ashamed of nothing mentality. If he's an ambassador for them, then he's an employee, then they should be investigated and punished for it.

Doesn't look like he has anything to do with them. Works for local radio station. The worst bit, for me, is that he has been a manager and, presumably, still harbours ambitions in that direction. Hopefully his latest outburst has put the final nail in that particular coffin.

What a complete joke Aldridge was, still is and always will be. You just wish to confront him with earlier statements regarding Suarez and Sterling. Unfortunately the media won't do it. Total amnesia when it's about the old so called top 4, but when we seem to show an interest in Alves, the first thing that comes up in the media is he said he didn't know City as in the rags being the only team from Manchester. Sad really isn't it ...

Had a long drive today and didn't fancy music.... step forward talkragshite.

Within a hour Micky Quinn was supporting Aldridge, called out by a rag caller re double standards with Sterling which Quinn said was totally different. Also had red nose on trying to get mini red nose to the rags and Clattering talking about integrity.

Edit. Maybe this should be in the talkragshite thread

there's no mention of how much they actually bid, my bet they tried getting on the cheap thats why their feeder club saw their arse

They really think that if they employ a professional footballer he then becomes all scousy wousy and would never
ever want to move anywhere else, until he's 45.
Be prepared for next season, there'll be that many minutes' silences no fucker in Liverpool will speak for a fortnight.

Oh if only.

Salah has become a very good winger at Roma.

He is a cut above some of the average players Liverpool have signed in recent years.

Think him and Coutinho and Firmino will make a fantastic supporting trio.
