It's as black and white as that for me.

There's other factors too. Hopefully a settled back 4 and keeper with a fit Vinny and full backs that suit the role. Gundogan and Yaya available. Sane and G Jesus firing from match 1

But I think you're right, Sanchez would be the game changer that would give us the edge over the others and see us over the line

I think the defenders that we will sign will have a much greater influence on the chances of winning the championship than Sanchez. Of course he is a WC but our attack can be excellent even without him, however our defense was a disaster last year. Walker, Mendy and I hope for a change we will get a real WC CB- thats all I want

Sanchez, a class player we should have bought when he left Barca. Same goes for Hazard when he went to Chelsea.

They are a huge club. With the money they have,the manager they have,and the fact they play in London means they could and should have won many more titles.

they're only saying what any set of fans would in their position. It might appear deluded but what would you expect them to say?

Not a disaster maybe but not good enough to make us serious title contenders. I for one never felt comfortable when we were being attacked. Furthermore, while we sometimes defended reasonably well far too often we were taken to the cleaners normally in big games. It may be my perception but it is more valid than some who believe that bent refs and bad luck were the reason we finished half a mile behind the Chavs.
