And then he goes on to pretend like signing Sanchez makes us less likely to buy Mendy and Walker which he knows is bulkshit but has to use because he's got no other legitimate points.

Similar to how he keeps calling him 29 when he's 28, and claims he can't beat a player anymore despite beating more than Sterling or Sané last season.

When someone's argument relies so much on false assumptions and needs embellishing then it's not a good one, and they aren't going to be right.

hey listen nobody is going to turn down a chance to get a player like Sanchez, its just not priority. full backs are.

It doesn't benefit Arsenal to drag this out. They'll have their big new club record signing lacazette arriving next week, Sanchez won't be far behind.

They have to buy a replacement. That means they can't drag this out for weeks on end and I don't think Wenger would want to anyway, for Ornstein to be tweeting that they'll accept the right bid from us means we're 75% of the way there.

It doesn't make a blind bit of difference if the full backs are a priority because we will get them as well.

It's almost as if some people only think that the club works on one deal at a time.

Was kinda my vibe too but the feeling amongst Pep's team as of last night was/is that Arsenal plan to drag this into August.

On the plus side, Mendy + Alves are done, Bertrand + a new CB nearly done.

Walker may take a little longer too.

Excellent news Billy. When the next pod mate? Surprised you're getting a bad review on Reddit. I think they are excellent along with Bluemoon pod.

Ha. I'm over yesterday's reddit intrusion.

Pods will resume Tuesday with a vengeance. Unless City confirm Alves on Monday in which case there'll be one without me on Monday.
