I think two, one on each side would at least allay fears pal. Most know we probably need 4 but as it stands two would be a huge improvement and yes whilst many don't like Kolorov at least with two first choice full backs we have cover as well on both sides in Kola and Fern.

Two would be mega at this point and then see what we can do regards another two. Walker and Mendy for example would make out first 11 so much better. Kola and Fern aren't too bad as replacements against the cannon fodder of the league.

Good call on Cedric. He looks a fine player.

However, because he looks good, I doubt Southampton would even entertain £25M.

I reckon we'd have to add another £10M to that and a bit more in add-ons.

They were vehement in their stance with Van Dijk. I expect they will with all of their players. We can probably thank the dippers for this.
 
As much as I'm slightly gutted to not get Alves...people slating Txiki is quite astonishing. Players change their minds so what? Same could be said about our players that maybe turned down alternate teams in the past. de Bruyne being touted by Bayern, Sane same, Silva was being looked by Real and Barca before we signed him. At the end of the day it's crap being on the other side of it but as numerous people have said I'd rather it be Alves (who I wanted) than the other targets namely Walker, Mendy and Sanchez. Exciting thing is who will be our next right back target after Walker? Airier, Semedo, Soares...
 
Surely city haven't been stupid enough to realise that we have no real/good fullbacks going into preseason

I only assume we have deals tied up and are going to announce in the USA during this tournament unless Maffeo is a real option as a back up?

Probably some fucker from Portugal who's slower than Kolarov.
 
Well there always Alaba.
Didnt have a great season last year and would cost a bit as i think he signed a contract extension last year. But being so versatile could get the game time and works as a fullback, CB or midfield. Knows Pep's system as well.

I disagree completely with the slagging of off the ITK's. I believe they are trying to do us a favour by honestly providing information they have heard about a topic which interests a lot of people strongly. I, for one, am grateful for this and accept that such information can be wrong. This does not change the honesty of the guys who share what they have heard. Slagging them off is, again in my humble opinion, childish and something that should perhaps be added to the code of conduct, so ITK's bashers could be banned.
