Not sure how it suits Monaco. There is no way he will have the year he had this year without Silva and Lemar. His price will drop if he is sold next summer IMO.

Not so sure. He's a shoe in already for the World Cup. The way fees are going and a good World Cup would mean a mega deal. Certainly no less than they could get now.

I don't think people are that daft either. If he only has an average season next year he's already done enough for people to put 2 and 2 together and realise it was because he didn't have the same quality of player around him.

Maybe just kids...but we have a lot of veteran talent in Kompany, Yaya, Ferna, David Silva, KDB, and Aguero. Look at the Atleti team that ended Barcelona's years of dominance. they had a really young team with some solid veterans in Godin, Garcia, Villa, Miranda etc.

I think everybody, especially the Germans, were quite happy with the squad that was chosen. They don't take the tournament too seriously, plus the regulars were in need of a summer off. They needed to start phasing some of these younger guys in.
