I think we can all agree that is best performance for City was in the Harlem Shake, all downhill from there..

I'm not surprised at all, always expected him to leave this summer. We've been linked with a new CB anyway so someone had to go. Been a great servant for city but it's definatly the right time to go.

Not surprising Kolarov is leaving. Should have been sold 2-3 years ago already. I don't think he was good enough but he had some good spells. Looks like new CB might be now brought in. Inigo Martinez maybe? He has £26m release clause and is left footed.

If we go into the season with just three fullbacks in Mendy,Danilo and Walker we'll absolutely regret it. Not sure how many times Fernandinho has to cover there for Pep to see he's useless in that position. He gets targeted and it costs us every time he's up against somebody half decent. Not really his fault, he simply isn't a fullback. I'd love Mangala to stay but it's probably not happening, and definitely not as a left back although he did quite well there today. Lots of questions to be raised by this.

Good luck to Kolarov. Always maintained he was a good player for us, 3 managers haven't felt the need to replace him so he can't have been half as bad as some would suggest. Was often made a scapegoat due to poor tactical choices and other players not covering him leaving him looking poor when he was simply doing what was asked of him. Not going to be that easy to replace him, who out there is experienced, fits the Pep mould and would be content with predominantly a 4th choice centre back and 2/3rd choice fullback role?

I really liked Kolarov on and off the field and will miss him. This summer has seen even more of the old guard leave than I originally expected. All four fullbacks now gone, Hart out the door, Navas floating around in Spain somewhere... Onwards and upwards.

practically won it all with us so well done to the lad. seems the right time to go. going to miss his free kicks but im sure our fans in Row Z will be relieved ;-)
all the best lad.

My first thought (apart from Hurray!) was that it means we must definitely be in for a centre back but if the club wasn't planning on him leaving this summer and Pep has only very recently grudgingly accepted that he needs to let him go, then buying a centre back might not have been in the plans this summer. Going to have to move quickly if that is the case.

Dont give fuck what people will say but I'll miss the crazy bastard. Top servant. Wore the top proudly. Looked like he was a cornerstone of the dressing room. Stood up for our 'little players' and when I saw the team getting on train at Picadilly to play Arsenal away he was the only **** that said hello to the few fans watching them (gave the thumbs up along with Zabba). Top guy. Had his faults but in my eyes was a top blue. All the best Kola shame we never got to say goodbye properly.

Seem's Kolorov is on his way.

Roma the intended destination, wonder whats behind him wanting to move?

Dont' think too many people will be upset that he's leaving us.

As long as the replacement is better.

Looks like we now need 5 more players to come in and at least three of them first team starters.

Busy August ahead.

Think the fact that he would not be first choice in any position says it all really. Ideally we should only have players in our squad who are capable of being first choice. If not they should be young and learning.

Sorry but how can any City fan not spell his name after 6+ years at the club?

Besides, I'm sorry to see him go but there's already a thread on this in the transfer forum.
