Are you that bothered about the difference between Boca Juniors (Argentina) and Corinthians (Brazil)? If you could double your money by going to Colombia or Ecuador, where the leagues are weaker but you still have a chance of competing for the Copa Libertadores, would you not do it just because of the standard of the league? It's only 5 years, maybe 10 max.

Life in Europe is just a chapter in the lives of these guys. Most will make their money and go home to their 'real' lives, and tell tales to their kids about how crazy European football fans are. Fair play to them.

the vast majority of the very top players will go to madrid, bayern or barca or now PSG over us........i think that is something the majority of people on here need to accept unless we do something different

i agree, alexis will bag us goals for sure (which is probably why whinger won't sell' but I'd be quite happy to see us sign a guy who alters the focus. For me alexis and Kun are quite alike, I don't want us to go route one but is plan a isn't working then I'd like the option of a tall guy who can meet a cross from our splendid new full backs.

What's crouchy doing thes days, isn't his mum a blue, and where did that Bosnian lad go, what's his name?

I know it won't be a popular opinion on here. Yet when we needed a goal over the Xmas period when we won the league, Mario was the man who stood up. People rightly praise his assist, yet there was a period over the winter months when Tevez went awol, Sergio got injured and Edin went off the boil where Mario pulled us through.

We don't need wingers. What goosed us last year was clinical finishing. Mario would be perfect.

Like I said, probably not a popular opinion on here but I would rather Mario than Kelechi if we needed a goal.

no but i think on the vast majority of occasions we aint going to get them unless we do what PSG are doing....just throw down silly money....its the only way ....if PSG gt neymar it sort of proves it cause no way are they at the level of Barca madrid or bayern but they may be about to get one of the best players int he world (one we supposedly put a bit in for las year but didnt get anywhere with) and they could be about to get one of our targets as well

They've bid 35 mil for Sanchez as Arsenal have fucked up being determined not to sell to the PL

they weren't players at the top of their game...they are POTENTIAL world beaters I agree and ones Im very pleased to have but you cannot compare either of them to neymar or sanchez who are already at the vey top of the game.....I actually said i think we should be focussing more on finding the players like that than spending time on players we realistically have no chance of getting with the way we are doing things at the moment.

The only way we get an established player like those two is to make an offer NO ONE (club or player) can refuse.....

IF PSG get Sanchez for 35 mill then again that proves that we are not a big enough draw alone (with pep even)
