1. Yet we are always enticing investors and sponsorsSo we all know that this is all about click bait and selling papers (not sure what the BBCs doing though!) but does it really matter. The answer has to be a yes:
1. It damages our marketability and potential sponsors = not fulfilling our potential in market place
2. Players less likely to get recognition from peers and pundits= less incentive to play/sign for us = inflated wages and transfer fees
3. Less likely to be picked for international duty ( pick your nose for United - get picked for England!)
These factors must play a part in players choices. So to those who say they don't care about the media bullshit then you should. It matters.
We gave them arguably the best televisual moment of there PL coverage, yet were lambasted by them all the time whilst they swallow the rag medicine at every opportunity.Don't know if this is the correct thread for this, but the new Sky Sports advert is MINT:

That would only bother anyone who is over-sensitive to that kind of irrelevant rubbishWe gave them arguably the best televisual moment of there PL coverage, yet were lambasted by them all the time whilst they swallow the rag medicine at every opportunity.
Anyone know why when we transfer a player it is reported at the lowest figure and we are paying the wages for the next 10 years (Kolarov now reported at £4.5m , was £7m) and when we buy a player the total is including wages , bonuses , add-ons and the national debt of the 3rd world , and is a world record fee ,example Walker at over £100m . They don't appear to do this for ANY other club , no doubt it pleases the core readership/viewing customers Rags,Dippers,Goons,Spuds will be lapping it up. Which is why i think we should smash transfer records everytime we sign a player , don't bother with the Delph's and Nolito's of this world , let have Messi , Ladyboy , Robben etc., warming our bench , give them something to really moan about :)

Women's cricket? Jesus fucking Christ.12pm Sky Sports news. We've had a big signing from la liga to the prem today but instead of covering that or having that as our top story lets go see whats happening in the womens cricket and then the golf...still no mention.
And how is that affecting the club or any of our lives? We can get all the information about the transfer from other means than Sky Sports News. We aren't losing or gaining a single thing as a club or a fanbase whether Sky Sports midday News are all over the transfer or not12pm Sky Sports news.
