Surely not? He looks about 5ft 9/10" max lol
Absolutely he is not 6ft, he's usually listed as 176cm, 5ft 9in.

Anyway, bring it on. The world is messed up, the weather is crap, I'm all but stuck in the house for the while. Cannot wait for this season to get going. If I'm a little apprehensive it's because I usually back the teams that lose pre-season games to start the season well. I certainly don't watch the bloody things.

Just announced that one of 'Albions' forwards (forgot name) has broken his leg and is out for 3 months?

Beram Kayal (from Celtic), central midfielder and the quickest of the Albion central midfielders and would normally be an automatic first choice. However, he missed most of last season with a long term injury. Long term injuries are a curse, even when the players recover it takes them time to get up to match day fitness. Brighton had seven first team squad players out for virtually the whole of last season. Thought of as like seven new signings before the season began and it is already down to five.

I just want to see a solid performance. No jittery p*ssing about with it in midfield and for us to be ruthless in front of goal and take the chances. I know pre season friendlies are just that, but we were moving the ball beautifully in the USA, more of the same please.

Surely we won't be playing a back 4 as many on here are predicting? Haven't we played every pre season game with a back 3, would seem bizarre to revert to a back 4 when it's worked so well.

You're right, the Bridge car park (B) is next to the ground, well a 5 minute walk away. You leave your car and walk up to the stadium past university playing fields on one side and railway and Falmer station on the other. Easy Peasy! Re.my earlier post, I suggest that you hang around the Amex for half an hour or so after the game (have a beer etc.), as it will be bottle neck job exiting the car park when the game ends.

The Park&Ride site is further down Lewes Road (towards Brighton), one being University of Brighton (Mithras House) and the other being Brighton Racecourse. Once you've got on a P&R bus it's quite a quick journey back to your car, and not too bad getting away on to the A27 and A23.
is the coach parking near the ground?

We have no back up CB's if anyone gets injured though?
Reports suggesting we'll just keep the Mangler if we can't find a buyer for him, which leaves us with these options in order of preference:

Kompany
Otamendi
Stones
Mangala
Fernandinho
Danilo (if he can play there, which I expect he can if Kolarov can)
Adarabioyo

I agree that it's not ideal but I think we have enough cover that we don't absolutely need to sign another CB.

Quite right. Maureen's rags hitting non-stop diagonal long balls into the box in the hope that one giant will head it across for another giant to bundle in. Their game is an embarrassment to the Prem.

Hopefully they keep the momentum going into the upcoming season the rags twats

If you go back to Peps first pre season here, he used a back 3.

I think it's a final resort, something he wants to see first hand in case we ever need it.

Imo it will be a back 4 this season, 3 doesn' work in the PL
