Pellegrini got hammered by the media because he wasn't a joke a minute, Pep gets it now for having the Spanish media rocking in the aisles. We couldn't get a worse press if both sides of Ashton Road was lined with journos heads on spikes.

Maybe they want him to sign and are lauding him to the Evans ;-) because he'd become "a source" for news.
Journos need to work hard for once when Johnny Foreigners sign unless the agent spills the beans.

Have the pundits been questioning spuds yet for spending £42m on a defender who's unproven in our league? Seems fair considering the shit we got for signing one of the best defenders in the league for slightly more.

yeah fair enough, i dont think im too arsed what people say, though i dont like to see the club do silly things either (like banning flags on the advertising in tier 2, we play for you, shite like that). I genuinely think Evans is sub standard for us.
