Another one bites the dust, cheers Samir for the few memories. Came up big for us on more than one occasion, just a shame he never quite fixed his attitude. French footballers seem to fall into this trap more than any other nation.

Can't imagine we will be getting much of a fee if anything, better off letting him go for nothing and ensure that they take on all his wages. I would say we have got our moneys worth (24mil wasn't it?) so all in all a decent signing.

As it's only a two year deal, I suspect it is just a loan as it matches the end of his contract date with us. They are probably covering all his wages, which for all intents and purposes means we've probably written him off the books.
