Any away player in the PL will think this looks the biz.. like a real top notch facility to play football at week in, week out. Everton will go back to this next week:
Anyone on here in there last night? What was it like? Did the supply of chips hold out?
I had a burger and was cremated into an inch of its life. It was literally burnt to the core of the burger aand pretty much inedible. Shocking food.In 115 block took the meal deal of pie chips with a Heineken for £12 - gravy extra. Shouldn't have bothered, usual 15 minute wait to be served by a 'cheerful' chappie. Kippax curry pie was dry, chips full of eyes and not sure what the gravy was made of but ugh! Half time a mini bottle of wine for £5.50.
Taking into account the £8.50 train fare, £7 taxi from station to get there as with lazy lads that won't walk, and starts being a dear do considering we've all shelled out for the st/s.
Next night match will be a decent burger at the Shack en route.
Although this would all have been worthwhile if we had battered Everton.
This ^^^^^^^^ is bang on. Absolute chaos last night as all their large cars sat there with their drivers waiting for their "clients" whilst everyone else is funneled into a two way bottleneck. But then again why am i so sup prized as who gives a f**k for "ordinary fans"Worst part was all the mercs parked outside afterwards forcing all the fans travelling in both directions into a small confined space and a bottleneck not helped by city leaving the metal fences combined with the bollards making it a bit of a nightmare to navigate.
Really do wonder who is in charge of these things cos they use no common sense and risk causing a potential crush as they've made space to park 15 or so limos outside that can't go anywhere due to congestion anyway.. Why the hell not just drive them in after the crowds have died down and they've finished their post match nibbles or is that too obvious a thing to do
Worsleyweb was in there last night, so he's probably off with food poisoning ;-)Anyone on here in there last night? What was it like? Did the supply of chips hold out?
The above actually angers me,this really isnt what football is all about.
Its little wonder many a 'working class' individual, and previous loyal attendee, cant be arsed leaving their armchair anymore.
This sums it up pretty well:
Not sure if this has been covered in this thread, but I didn't realise that all the personalised plaques that were on the wall on the previous tunnel, which fans had paid for, have been destroyed without warning. That's pretty shoddy from the club.

They were only supposed to last 10 years anywayand it just gets worse
