Glass Tunnel now taking shape

Any away player in the PL will think this looks the biz.. like a real top notch facility to play football at week in, week out. Everton will go back to this next week:

Anyone on here in there last night? What was it like? Did the supply of chips hold out?

In 115 block took the meal deal of pie chips with a Heineken for £12 - gravy extra. Shouldn't have bothered, usual 15 minute wait to be served by a 'cheerful' chappie. Kippax curry pie was dry, chips full of eyes and not sure what the gravy was made of but ugh! Half time a mini bottle of wine for £5.50.
Taking into account the £8.50 train fare, £7 taxi from station to get there as with lazy lads that won't walk, and starts being a dear do considering we've all shelled out for the st/s.
Next night match will be a decent burger at the Shack en route.

Although this would all have been worthwhile if we had battered Everton.

I had a burger and was cremated into an inch of its life. It was literally burnt to the core of the burger aand pretty much inedible. Shocking food.

Worst part was all the mercs parked outside afterwards forcing all the fans travelling in both directions into a small confined space and a bottleneck not helped by city leaving the metal fences combined with the bollards making it a bit of a nightmare to navigate.
Really do wonder who is in charge of these things cos they use no common sense and risk causing a potential crush as they've made space to park 15 or so limos outside that can't go anywhere due to congestion anyway.. Why the hell not just drive them in after the crowds have died down and they've finished their post match nibbles or is that too obvious a thing to do
This ^^^^^^^^ is bang on. Absolute chaos last night as all their large cars sat there with their drivers waiting for their "clients" whilst everyone else is funneled into a two way bottleneck. But then again why am i so sup prized as who gives a f**k for "ordinary fans"

Didn't make the game last night but spotted where my old seat use to be in 126 and it has been replaced by a entrance - just off the side of the bench! Anyone know where this leads to? Spotted the chaps I sit beside who use to be 6 seats in from the aisle are now primely positioned alongside the tunnel. My luck....

Had to laugh after we'd scored and Hale & Pace came out and asked those stood up celebrating to sit down. "By order of duh management"

The above actually angers me,this really isnt what football is all about.

Its little wonder many a 'working class' individual, and previous loyal attendee, cant be arsed leaving their armchair anymore.

I found it a bit comical that most of the Tunnel Clubbers missed the kick off because they had to queue to get to their seats.

This sums it up pretty well:

That'll stop when the suit brigade complains about it. Players will be told headphones off and phones away before you get off the coach, and at the very least to high five a few fans on their way into the Tunnel Club.

What I want to know is, do the tunnel club tables get allocated? Ie: One of them is right near the tunnel, another is right near the media interview section. Or are even those tables reserved for people like Etihad/Nike etc...

Not sure if this has been covered in this thread, but I didn't realise that all the personalised plaques that were on the wall on the previous tunnel, which fans had paid for, have been destroyed without warning. That's pretty shoddy from the club.

Keeps them away from us rabble I suppose...............never thought I'd see this stuff at football............life moves on I suppose.

Another nail in a big coffin for me though.

Matter of time before I jack it in

Someone asked the same question a few weeks back and got the same answer.
Another nail in the coffin of the club we once knew.

i dont think many city fans actually like the tunnel club or the idea of it. its so far removed from most of our fan base. i think its part of - everything wrong with football at the minute. i dont think the club realise what fans actually think.
