That guy was slagging City big time at the end of last season. 'small time' 'no history' same old bollox
Somebody needs to explain that to the DippersIt's all starting to sound like Wenger is resigned to losing him. It's as clear as day that he doesn't want to be there. Perhaps realism is starting to sink in. You can't keep a player that doesn't want to play for the club, lacks confidence in his teammates and doesn't respect the manager.
I was about to ask the same question.Perhaps they`re face down in the Thames.Where's all the resident tarquins
He has been the only player actually trying for them for the past 12 months so not sure what you've been watching. He pretty much won them the FA cup last season. And that's my point.
He's paid a shit load of money to play - and because he doesn't want to he (and you seemingly) thinks it's ok to behave like a nine year old who doesn't get his way
Their own fans agree with you.He has been the only player actually trying for them for the past 12 months so not sure what you've been watching. He pretty much won them the FA cup last season.
The club hasn't made the signings and given him the support he needs so he's lost heart. Anyone in employment that loses heart with their employer doesn't perform as well if you say they do you're having a laugh.
Truth is the media are now doing a Sterling as they do with any player who may join City and you're falling for it hook line and sinker.
The guy is a work horse and a fantastic team player.
BsHR
I'd offer them 50, after that performance they've got no chance of 60.

Oh, don't worry about that media stuff, as soon as he gets anywhere near signing for us, he'll be a no good lazy fucker who's done fuck all since he signed for Arsenal.Let's just disagree on our views then.
The one thing I'm not doing is falling for a media led point of view. I'm old enough and daft enough to be able to form my own opinions based on what I see and as sure as eggs is eggs he hasn't been the "only player actually trying for them for the past 12 months".

As I said originally I know I'm in the minority.
Of all the reasons people have offered the most compelling to me is Pep's own view.
The most common one, that he is frustrated, doesn't impress me at all. He's paid a huge amount of money and should do his job professionally; he simply does not do this consistently.
I was really keen that we get him a few years ago before he went to Barca and no doubt he will do much better for us than he did at Arsenal - doesn't change my opinion that he's got an attitude problem though
