Its been a strange one because BT sport after the Stoke cs Rags game they had a discussion involving I think Poll and Ferdinand Owen and Hoddle who all agreed that it was a sending off and even Hoddle who said 30'years ago when I was playing it still could have been a red. Then on sly sports Charragher said red but during the game Gary Nevile (who usually is fair and quite a good commentator) apparently called bullshit on the red, as I believe Lily Savage and Walkers Crisps did too. So its all over the place really when you look at the motive of these suspects in the crimes against fairness towards City. Some apt and balanced heads and some total twattery from the pundits.

I was really p..ed off at first with the attitude of the press. Now I find it quite amusing watching them squirm and make excuses for the poor showing of Liverpool.

Anyone notice at the game how few Liverpool players were actually interested in how Edie was and how few actually applauded when he was carried off? Made me even more pleased that we battered them.

No the 5-0 thrashing is irrelevant when the injustices of one of there history clubs get one of there players sent off!
Funny when a Bournemouth player took Jesus out with a 2 footed tackle and not even a yellow motd never even mentioned it! Seems the narrative regarding Manchester City players in the media is totally different.
I remember the commentator laughing then saying it was a "1950s type challenge"

One rule change that I would like to see is if a player has to substituted due to an injury arising out of a red card offence (as happened with Ederson yesterday) then it shouldn't be counted as one of his team's three substitutions.
It's a squad game more than ever now but (again to use yesterday's example) City's tactical options off the bench were limited through Liverpool's foul play.
I know it didn't make any difference yesterday (unless your name is Ben Foden and you were hoping for a late debut) but it might in another, closer game.

I said same yesterday. It should not count as a substitute. Rugby league has this rule. Ben Foden?

Evidence of what i said immediately after the incident. Sky and the rest have set the narrative in an attempt to sway the FA and let him off his 3 game ban.

They run the fucking game in this country!

I guess we'll find out if its overturned. There's not a fuckin chance on earth it will be.

Fuck me, that's one piece of absolute donkey spunk reporting. No wonder the cûnt who wrote it didn't dare put his name to it.

Incredible stuff.

Ha ha, fucking magic! I'll be basing an article on that in the very near future. I had thought last year's claim that Raheem's new house was near an alleged dogging hotspot could not be beaten in the tenuous horse shit stakes, but alas it would appear I was wrong! But seriously though, what a cnut that snake Sterling is, skipping about when he should be whipping himself raw like an Opus Dei applicant. Bastard!

Truly disgraceful behaviour again from Sterling!

People who say that the best things in life are free clearly haven't ever picked up a copy of Metro.

Total bullshit reporting of course as he/she would not have privy to that location at that time.

I still do not know why you read such crap. If everyone ignored them they would soon be out of a job. Not bought a paper in 20 years.

I just saw a link saying 'Sterling winds up Liverpool fans'. I was seduced. I apologise for my naivety.
