He will play the subs and reserves and a couple of kids, exactly as he did against United. In fact, I'm sure the majority of those that received minutes against United in the league cup also played against Barca.
Agreed, I'd like to see gundogan, b Silva and perhaps even yaya get some minutes tonight, not too worried about the result but it's always good to keep a winning streak going
Starting line up was..

City XI: Caballero, Zabaleta, Kompany, Stones, Clichy, Fernando, Garcia, Navas, Angelino, Sané, Iheanacho

Clichy scored a cracker, I seem to recall!
Think you might be mixing it up with another game, highlights of that tie:

I reckon we'll see something like this

-------------Bravo

Danilo Tosin Mangala Zinchenko

---Delph Gundogan Yaya

--------Foden---Sane

-------------Jesus

Rearrange it however you want, they're all interchangeable.

What a good goal from Aleix Garcia.......

Is he on loan in Spain atm.....?

I am actually very much hoping we see something like this tonight:

-------------------- Bravo --------------------
Danilo --- Otamendi ---- Tosin --- Mendy
-------------------- Delph --------------------
----------- Bernardo ---- Foden ------------
---- Sterling ------ Jesus -------- Sane ----

Subs: Ederson, Mangala, Walker, Zinchenko, Yaya, Diaz, Aguero

Fanciful, I know, but it is balanced, flexible, gives a few kids an opportunity to play with proven talent, and exploits West Brom's weaknesses throughout.

Anyone know any pubs in the 4 Heatons that are definitely showing it? No joy so far! Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it on here.

I really hope we smash them, it will be a difficult game, conditions and rotation of players to keep them sharp. The players that come in have a point to prove to Pep. It's a lovely problem to have.
If we take our opportunities, we should win this, however, it may become a battle zone if they get too physical.
0-2 CITY.

Tony Pulis hasn't won a league cup game for 6 years.

Don't think he'll have any intentions of winning this one, the league cup is just an obstacle to his 40 points target in the league.

With that said, would be very disappointed if we didn't see a couple of kids tonight and have a reasonably comfortable win.

Normally I'd think that level of expectstion was a bit arrogant but I'm pretty sure Pulis wil be actively looking to not win...
