I think it's safe to say if it was easy to tell with our state of the art facilities, Pep wouldn't have been talking about him possibly playing tonight in his press conference only 24 hours before sending him to a specialist for possible surgery.

Yes Karen you are right it was 7 hours old but I jumped on the thread for an update on the injury and no-one seemed to know anything. I hadnt seen anyone mention possible "ligament damage" so was worth posting Sam's comments...

Not so sure. I thought he should have been straight off on Saturday (evidently not an impact injury from the first video replay), yet the men in plastic gloves allowed him to continue.

Aif he went to Barcelona to get it looked at and is back for tonight it seems like no surgery was required so hopefully just a few weeks.

I would presume he's under strict medical supervision at the moment, and that they said it would be okay to g up those steps. I wouldn't be too impressed with it myself, to be honest.
