Out for about 3 weeks (returning to training in 2 weeks) unless a knee ligament has been extended when it will be double that. We'll find out on Thursday I guess.
PEP: If @benmendy23 is out I will feel sad for him. He is a unique player. We will see in January about a new signing. We have alternatives,
Such a shame as he was getting better by the game...How did he pass a medical though? Was just a matter of time if you go by his history.
Oh ffs must be expecting it to be worse than they first thought...PEP: If @benmendy23 is out I will feel sad for him. He is a unique player. We will see in January about a new signing. We have alternatives,

I'm guessing he didn't have a cruciate ligament injury at the time of the medical? A medical can only tell you so much, the rest is down to sheer luck I'm afraid, and in the case of Mendy it doesn't look good.
Blimey that's a bit of an over reaction. I doubt he'll be out al season whatever he's done. Fingers crossed anyway.Awful news but we need to start looking at players injury records before we sign them, no matter how good they are. Pep is already saying we will look at a replacement in January so it looks like his season co be over.
Send him on Ryanair with his knees pushed up to his chest, did wonders for Lakey when Mr Swales sent him to the USA economyI thought that, struggling up the bastard steps on crutches? Paul Lake anyone
Every club seems to have a couple of these. Comes with the territory I suppose. We signed Gundogan with a broken knee cap and could hardly have been surprised when he soon did his cruciate.
50 million down the drain if he's out for the season and then the new Kompany/Gundogan in terms of being crocked for future seasons. Now we'll need to spend more big money in January on a left back.
He plays RB.Could Maffeo be a possible replacement?
I know I shouldn’t have but I did laugh at this ...Send him on Ryanair with his knees pushed up to his chest, did wonders for Lakey when Mr Swales sent him to the USA economy
Well aren't you a ray of sunshine. We signed Gundogan with a broken knee cap and could hardly have been surprised when he soon did his cruciate.

Not sure what the nexus is between a broken kneecap and and ACL injury, apart from the proximity. Being blind doesn't make you more prone to being deaf.Well aren't you a ray of sunshine.
