Someone posted in the Mendy thread but I'd like to put it in here as well since it's Duncan:

Wonder if the club will reprimand him - or encourage more of our players to call it out, hope it's the latter.

PS could yuo love the guy more?

Better hope it's not an acl injury now. A smug castles is worse than normal. My preference is for our players to ignore the media as it just makes them feel important and encourages them to write even more crap to just get a response

Yeah I heard that too.Don't think I've heard them mention the teams that got relegated before and I've definitely never heard them mention money.I'll be contacting them shortly to inform them I won't be listening to their shit station any longer. And I don't want to split hairs, but I think they actually described it as a 5 million pound spending spree

I am FB friends with the DJ decent bloke to be fair.... messaged him ... He said he was 'just reading from a script' .... but I know he is a Liverpool fan. Asked him what they spent that season by comparison .... He's gone quiet. Lmao.

It's got to be a Rag working at Mediacity who is doing this. There is no way BBC Sport or the Managers there would allow this. Either the person doing this is very confident of their position and job, or they are constantly taking a chance. Or it could be more than one person doing this. Doing something as blatant as that shows utter confidence or total disgregard. Think this should be emailed to the club. If they needed any more proof about what is going on at Mediacity, this is it.
Isit Media City or a mis-spelling of mendacity?

Would that not be the Ukrainian journalists?

could be so but the cheer sound is so big for just for a couple of them sounds like the whole press box to me
would like and hope to think it was them but i have a feeling its not just them and we know the stuff that goes on in the press

Well, there is another side to the coin. Excellent report on Shaktar game by Henry Winter in today's Times. Talks about "steel in defence", team spirit, " a side with no egos " massive praise for Ferna, and many positives besides. Henry can be a bit precious, but he writes without bias or agenda.

Quality journalist up there with Samuels imo.
Puts Jackson, Herbert, Ladyman and the rest of the rabble to shame.

Just watched ssn and discussed Liverpool.Spurs last thing before the break they mention it was a good night for Spurs and ManCity but Liverpool draw again but to tonight's groups scum winning and then the score!!!!!!!! But there is no agenda

I heard a tale about the journos during the World Cup in South Africa, the story comes from a red top stringer who was over there, and he relayed it to a mate of mine who was in Fleet Street at the time.

Basically once they had all filed their match reports, they all colluded to come up with the narrative for the editorial pish that would be in the follow up articles, this (allegedly) was over several libations in the bus back to whatever luxury watering hole they were all ensconced.

Lead agitator and top dog was one H.Winter, at that time of the Telegraph, and apparently all the red top muppets went along taking the que and embellishing accordingly.

I offer this up as evidence of rat menatality, and how the red tops follow the broadsheets.

ITV Chumps League commentator at the end of the Rag's game; "U**, top of their (easy) Champions League group, joint top of the Premier League".

Just F**K OFF.

Well the BBC described their four goal away victory as a thrashing. Our 4 goal away victory of a few weeks ago was "commanding"

Nice to see some positive stuff on us today from both BBC and Sky. Good interview between Gary Linekar and Pep showing Peps’ more relaxed side and a piece on Sky Sports about the ‘transformation of Sergio into a less ‘selfish’ forward. Very refreshing change.

The Guardian online have done a good article on DeBruyne. It is a pity the person typing out the 'headline' under Kev's photo is a dumb assed pe*is who should not be near a typewriter never mind a computer.

The photo is our kev shooting last Tuesday, the headline ................

Kevin De Bruyne scores for Manchester United against Shakhtar Donetsk. Photograph: Tom Flathers/Manchester City FC via Getty Images

And the Guardian have the cheek to ask me to pay for the priveledge of reading this shite.

De Bruyne's childhood dream is to play for United.

He even sleeps in United pyjamas.

Don't know why I bother looking at the articles. City the dirties team ?

Think they should have a look at the reasons for the cards first. Many were due to inept referring which caused players to become frustrated that nothing was been done leading to cards for dissent, not for hacking down players. Not forgetting that one was for celebrating a last minute goal which resulted in the red for sterling.
They try to make us sound like Don Revie's Leeds FFS.
