We only have to get of this CL group before the transfer window and with a couple more decent results the CL is out of the way until February.

I disagree. I think defensively, Delph is the better fullback - I agree though he does have injury concerns, but fingers crossed we can keep him going a while longer
 
The club have said..

"He will return to Manchester this morning and his status will be checked ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash at Chelsea".

Reading between the lines that says to me that initially he's not too bad.

Are reports of broken ribs really just sore ribs? Could he just be a bit shaken up?

Time for Jesus to really step up to the plate. I have no doubt that he will though. From what we have seen this season and last. Just stay fit.

He would have arrived back in Manchester in the early hours of Friday morning when we have our biggest game of the season on Saturday teatime. I know he wasn't on the piss we or anything but it is odd. Even one broken Rib will put him out for 6-8 weeks and limit his training it is extremely painful and there is no magic cure but rest.
