Not at all confident about stopping your lot today, but I wasn't for either game last season. I just want to get it out of the way and would take a point all day long. I believe most other CFC fans would think the same.

Genuinely surprised at that, I'd have thought after last season and most previous ones before that you'd expect to win every home game, especially given you do seem to get rather more frequent refereeing decisions go your way than we do. Though I guess every supporter only remembers the bad ones and thinks the opposition get more.

Regardless of refs, this is without doubt the hardest league fixture of the season and I'd be happy if we come away with a point, no injuries and no sendings off for us!

Although you were not at your best against Arsenal you are in pretty rich form since the opening day.

Not surprised given recent events and your performance midweek that you are warm favourites to win and we will have to have everything go our way ref wise as well which hasn't been the case against your mob in recent times to get a victory.

If we do and I am not sure we will its going to be hard earned.

Along with Spurs and Liverpool away this will be our toughest game this season which is stating the obvious.

Didn't give any hint about being injured again in the recent interview.
Said he was looking forward to getting some game time against Chelsea.
With Mendy out his importance is significantly increased to our fortunes this season now.

After the depression of the injuries this week, it wasn't that long ago we were raving Sane, Sterling and Jesus were our forward line. Delph or Danilo should be able to do a decent job as back up, come on City set down a marker and get a win!
