The press and media in general were always going to go after Aguero for this. They hardly need an excuse do they? Bet the ****s were rubbing their hands with glee when they woke up to the news. Cockroaches and parasites.

He would probably fly directly to London to be with the team and that wouldn't have taken more than about 40 minutes.

He was on a private jet flight to and from Manchester, with time difference he could have been home and tucked up in bed by midnight. Training on Friday was at 11am.
But don't let the ****s in the media know that.

Nice to see BT have reverted to kangaroo court punditry today again.
I suspect we may not get the most positive feedback from that lot...

Garth Crooks says Aguero injury was self enforced

When I listen to Garth Crooks talk about football or read his articles his knowledge is similar to that of my wife, who knows fuck all about the game. Another imbecile stealing a living as a so called expert pundit who as a player was hardly at a level where he can pass comment on any of our current squad.

As for them clowns on Soccer Saturday, where do you start. Phil Thompson who for a player of a decent stature embarrasses himself with his obvious bitterness that Candlepool are regressing season after season, Champagne Charlie who again was no great shakes in his day and is still living in the eighties, William Hills favourite hoover nose who contradicts himself so often it's like he suffers from schizophrenia and all conducted by that sly twat Stelling with his constant little digs.

I just hope Pep clears up and shoves it up all of the media's arse.

If Chelsea would have had an extra day off like we did and if morata hadn't gone off injured, they'd have won that game. Oh and the weather was a bit shit and we're more used to that than they are. And if you're aunty had a dick, she'd be your uncle.
I suppose we'll have to wait a little longer for our first real test of the season.

Why aren't I surprised that the daily fail hate us.......fook off back down south and lick royal and Wimbledon bottoms...

Whilst searching for a stream at about 5:15, I heard one pundit (can't recall which one) say

"it's time for Gabriel Jesus to take a step up"...

...really? Where have they been? It's not as though he's had a couple of run outs, and struggled to adapt to the Premiership.

Can someone tweet this back to the Mirror

From the BBC, is Stone having an evening off celebrating their 4-0 win against the mighty CP ? (Sorry Ric I know you don't like full text being quoted but I'm guessing it will be toned down later on the website when they all get back from the pub and realise they're not top anymore)

Manchester City returned to the Premier League summit with an outstanding win at reigning champions Chelsea that was far more convincing than the scoreline suggested.

Kevin de Bruyne's spectacular 67th-minute winner against his former club, a rising left-foot drive from outside the area, gave Pep Guardiola's side a victory their dominance deserved and saw them leapfrog back over arch-rivals Manchester United.

City were without striker Sergio Aguero, who sustained rib injuries in a car crash in Amsterdam on Thursday, while Chelsea lost top scorer Alvaro Morata to injury in the first half.

Guardiola's men coped with Aguero's absence superbly, and threatened to score long before De Bruyne finally broke the deadlock, with Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois making a brilliant reflex save from Fernandinho's header before the break.

City never looked in danger once De Bruyne scored and almost added a second when Gabriel Jesus' volley was headed off the line by Antonio Rudiger.

Can't wait to see what MOTD say tonight after that performance. £100 bet some dick will still say "I'm still not convinced about city's defence' .......

Still think the 1-6 one was a classic, with Giggs as Goebells
