Best video game music of all time ...

Never played Grim Fandango, but wouldn't surprise me if the same guy was responsible for Neverhood, probably a coincidence.

Sounds good but two different guys that one was composed by Terry Scott Taylor (Daniel Amos) and Grim Fandango's soundtrack was composed by Peter McConnell. Well worth playing Grim Fandango if you haven't already, there's a remaster from 2015 too.

Yeah I've read good things about it cheers. I'll get round to it one day no doubt.

By the way.. if anyone sees this.. there's a song I've heard on the radio and I can't find it. I don't know the lyrics but It's a girl singing, and within it there is a sound like something off an 8 bit game.. like super mario, like a 1up or something, that is played through out the song. It's been frustrating me.

This is my second best ...

Aquatic Ambiance

And 3rd ...

Phendrana Drifts

Some more Amiga goodness for this thread... there was loads of great music on Amiga for me.

Still after this recent song featuring a blatant video game sample.. I think it might be the flappy bird noise actually.. surely someone knows. It is repeated throughout the entire song ans has been played on the radio.

This?

No :/ but I like it, cheers. It's more mainstream than that, I've looked through the charts and it's not there, but I know it's recent. What comes to mind is a girl singing and the the sound of the flappy bird game in the background.. the "ding!" hopefully I've not dreamt it.

Just replayed it a few weeks ago (the remaster this time). Still a great game.
