it is a big game. its a 3 way race for 4th along with arsenal. top 3 is done and dusted with us the chavs and spurs so that 4th spot is up for grabs. two of the managers of those three also rans will lose their jobs.
Actually the facts (if they are the facts) are a bit sobering
Sky report from last year
"An estimated 700m people worldwide tuned into their last meeting in March 2015, when Steven Gerrard was sent off seconds after coming on and Juan Mata's scissor-kick stunner sealed victory for United at Anfieldh Real Madrid, which took place later that day, was watched by an estimated 400m-500m people. The Champions League final in June had less than half the estimated viewers of the Liverpool v United clash across the planet.
Manchester United's win at Liverpool was also shown in more countries than any other fixture - over 200. That's four times as many as the latest El Classico"

Please don't besmirch the Bash street kids by associating them with the swamp dwellers!![]()
This is all I seen last night watching them sat in the stands discussing who is more bitter and more ugly.
The tannoy should have played the dualling banjos theme, biggest set of twats all under one roof.
If PEG plays the Spurs and Chelsea games with the same attitude he took to Anfield, we'll be 7 points clear in a month.
he is the definition of a cheque book manager. Give him a squad which isn't by far the best in the league and he won't win anything.
It's hard to argue against that. He's a very good manager with clear limitations. I can't place him amongst the greatest managers (Fergie, Shankly, Mourinho etc) because he's never been in a challenging job before. Every job he's been in he's had big funds available and world class players already at his disposal.
They drew today against a team we put 5 past as well ; -)Unless I am terribly mistaken...didn't the rags draw with the mob you have just stuck 7 past???
Time for the fixtures to get tougher,....injuries...Europe.....fall away ya rag bastards
The secret is that the rags' back line is also suspect. I know they don't concede many, but that's because the whole team's behind the ball. If they played attacking football, their defence would be exposed for what it is; completely average. It reminds me of when LVG was in charge and they were claiming Smalling as one of the world's best CBs because he looked good with 4 men in front of him. A couple of years later and he can't even get on the pitch.I was thinking maybe Peggy would open it up today knowing Liverpool's back line is suspect. Perfectly happy that he didn't. If we keep playing like we have, draws won't be good enough for them.
Rag on redcafe calling Pep a checkbook manager ..ohhh the irony.
