He's a professional hanger on. Latches onto anyone famous willing to put up with him and tries to get some of that fame for himself by association. No idea how he got that gig in the US, presumably must have befriended someone like Piers Morgan did. Sounds like they've had enough of him as well though so he'll be back here soon enough
