You're missing the point. The rags and liverpool are definitely in a scrap for 5th place. In that respect they are big rivals and its a good point away.

Obvious now, not so obvious post the nil/nil greatest game on earth. The scum still thought they were in the mix and the rag sycophants in the media and a good chunk of their fans convinced themselves this was all part of the plan. City would slip up "just like we did last year" our Brazilians would shiver to death in January blah, blah, blah.

We still might stumble and fall but what's obvious now is neither Utd or Liverpool will pip us to the post.

I really hope they're that low, and the sooner they're passed by Spurs and Chelsea, the better.
So do I. Personally, I can't see the Rags beating Spurs, for me Spurs are better in virtually every department, so let the twats
start tumbling down the league, if we're to win it, it'll be Spurs and Chelsea we will need to beat anyway.

Who are the Rags signing this morning ? MUEN reckons Real Madrids , Casemiro quite sure they can do better than that maybe a Ladyboy headline "Ronaldo begging for return to Old Toilet , he will play for nothing" would cheer up the 659m brain deads.

......says Stuart Pearce.
Jesus wept that's like saying Jimmy saville knows how to look after kids.
It never ceases to amaze me that Pearce is held up as some sort of expert. He was a great player but as a manager he was one of the most tactically stupid we have ever had. Apart from Alan Ball, probably the worst we have had in our history. He is clueless.

He is a dinosaur, for all his record as a player it his sort of mentality that has put us light years behind the rest of the world.

People are in for a shock if they think the Rags are going to drop like a stone, they will be up there all season.

They will continue to slap teams in the bottom 12 and perform poorly against the top sides, sure they will have the odd slip like at weekend but im sure it will be offest by the odd unexpected result against the top sides.

I expect they will finish 4th or 5th but will realistically be out of the title race by Jan.
