surely PEG will be more adventurous in this one, he has no excuses now especially with spuds star striker out...but I will not hold my breath

If you look over the years there are numerous games that the oppositions best player is suddenly injured, suspended or rested. Seems to happen to them all the time. They have more jam than Hartley's
It's always been the case, worked with an Ipswich fan in the early 80s, this was when Ipswich were a real strong team with great players, every time they played the rags home or away 2 or 3 of their top players always got injured or suspended, used to drive the carrot cruncher mad

I think he will get the rags to be slightly less cautious than against the dippers, but that's not saying much. He'll adopt his usual safety-first tactics and nullify the game from the start. If the rags score first then he'll definitely shut up shop and put two rows of five in front of the keeper.

It's just not in Peg's DNA to play an attacking game.

The eye-gouging twat probably still has nightmares about the 3-5 against Spurs at Christmas / New Year during the last campaign, in which he won the league.

Hopefully. It will be his last title ever.

The luckiest team in the history of sport get lucky again, what are the odds? First they get drawn against the worst team in he cup, then their big rivals for 2nd place star player gets hurt just before their crucial game. Jammiest ****s that ever lived.
Do you believe it's all luck, or did the lady get a helping hand?

Shouldn't we be happy Kane is out. For me the Rags are a limited team, although hard to beat. Had a good run against the cannon fodder, but will be found out against plenty of half decent teams. Spuds will finish above United, and will be our biggest threat for the title. So we want them to get beat tomorrow. Chelsea will beat the Rags next week.... if we've done our job properly over the next 2 games, the gap should be insurmountable

get your money on 0-0, a leopard doesnt change its spots , and Spuds have just lost 75% of their attacking prowess with Kane whilst PEG always plays to avoid defeat in the "top six" games , for all the bullshit and build up it will be a football bore just like the last "game of the season" at Klanfield , PEG is anti-football and POCH has a one man team , looking forward to being 7pts ahead of these f*ckers by 5pm on Saturday.

Off the top of my head that's still better than our record at Arsenal and Liverpool over the same period. Even Wigan have won at both since we last won at either.

Our record at the old toilet was worse for longer between Law's back heel and The Munich "sponsored by AON" testimonial game....

Or they’d miss a couple of penalties. Not that it affected the outcome of this game:

That was a damn good Ipswich Town side.If Kevin Beattie had been fit for a greater part of that period Ipswich, and possibly England...may have been inspired to greater heights....
