He was in the tunnel club. Got a photo with him too ha. Nice guy.

Still hobbled a little down steps.
 
The boy is a complete nutter.Great personality. I just hope he can take things a bit seriously when it matters.
Can’t wait to see him back on the pitch.

I've had this injury before. You can walk, jog, do kick ups etc, but it really tells when you have to balance on one leg with you knee slightly bent.

When he can do this & also twist & turn at speed, & start & stop rapidly, that's when his leg will be deemed strong enough to start full training. It's a long & hard road.

Hope he gets back before the end of season but can't help thinking it was one of the most pointless injuries ever. A foolish and needless tackle with the wrong foot .Moving forward he will have to be a lot more clever than that.

I love his enthusiasm and hope he has the discipline required as Guardiola will not tolerate a happy go lucky approach no matter how nice a bloke he is.
From the little we saw of him he could be a huge player and influence in the future.
 
I was never the same after having ACL replacement surgery in the early 90s. (Hope Mendy doesn't follow my rehab programme of lager, take aways and wimmin...)

You obviously weren't a lion or a shark.

In all seriousness things have changed a lot. What's gone from career ending just 20 years ago is now a 6-8 month lay off. Since the start of last season Gundogan, Big nose and Rojo have all returned. I'm guessing others too.

Mendy is only 23, he'll be back good as ever.
