On the Daily Fail site story they have included a box titled "REDMOND'S STATEMENT IN FULL". How come then that it is NOT his statement in full? Like the snakes they are, they have left out his final paragraph which reads as follows-
"Sadly this story is an example of lazy journalism and is a complete joke. It does no favours to the sports journalists in the game that I like, happily work with and genuinely respect".
Great respect to Nathan, total disrespect to that sleazeball excuse for a newspaper who claim a statement in full yet leave out the embarrassing bit. A downright lie then.

Of course Pep shouldn't be seen talking to an opponent and showing emotion: this is England after all.

It's after the full-time whistle, Redmond isn't bothered about it and smiles and converses with Pep - add to that he's actually tweeted a statement to say that... so what exactly does Pep have to answer for?

But what he did was not right ( whatever the content of what he said ). looking at it from a neutral point of view I would be livid if Wenger/Klopp/Mourinho or any other manager did exactly the same in public at end of a game to any City player.
I have no issue with any manager shaking hands with opposition players and passing a general 'well played / unlucky' comment as they trot off the pitch - but to say Pep didn't take it too far is pushing it for me.
would we be happy if say Klopp said positive things in the same way to Stirling as City left the pitch at Anfield after conceding a very late losing goal...............I think not !

Coincidentally the witch hunt is in full swing barely a week before a derby game , i would put money on a loop on Sky for the next week or so , of one of our players for aggressive breathing

Well done DD. IPSO seems to be the place to lodge complaints against newspapers. I presume this is no good if it is just for cr*p opinions, but hopefully it will work for deliberate misinformation like this, i.e. lies.
