So no Hart because of the loan, so Adrian plays, who will no doubt have a blinder, wanting to keep his place. And Zaba will score of course. Still thinking 3 or 4-1 to us.

Who the hell is upfront for West Ham? Looks like two banks of 5 with that team.
We'll be against a 5-5-0 for about 90% of our matches until Pep leaves. Teams are now just aiming to take advantage of set pieces rather than actual attacks.

I think we’ll murder these today.

If we’re 2 or 3 up at half time I would drag Sane off even if he is kicking or screaming. Too important to us to be missing for the derby.

Looking at their team, they have no intention of coming to play football. It’s damage limitation and defensive exercise.

Only would have kept Sane on the bench to bring on late if necessary.

Risking a booking to be out of the derby is a huge gamble I am not sure was worth taking when we could have hopefully got by without.t

Certainly hope he has been warned to do nothing silly.

Unless he plans to play more defensively next week anyhow as a draw would be a great result as they must win so will leave gaps.

Only the one goalkeeper? ;)

I guess we cannot blame managers not wanting to get a tonking but I’m sick of watching it.

Totally agree. The way i see it right now, is that if we put our best team out, even on a slightly off day we should keep rolling these teams outside the top six over. Thanks to the gap we've opened up, if we keep doing that we'll win the league at a canter regardless of what happens against the other teams in the top 6. Obviously we should prepare as best we can when playing the other top sides, but I wouldnt obsess about those games to the point where we go risking dropping points and taking our foot off the gas in the more winnable games. We can try and save players for the derby but those are the kind of games where a bad refereeing decision, a slightly off day or stroke of bad luck can see you dropping points. Makes more sense to me to keep the pressure on our rivals by beating everyone else.
League first priority for me.
All games are winnable for us right now.
We have already played our most difficult game - Chelski away - whereas the rags haven't yet. They still have to face us!

Is sane a booking away from a one game ban? Hmmmm surely if that’s the case then it’s slightly risky and don’t want to tempt fate but you just know what could happen ..

The Premier League website shows Sane on only 3 bookings. Is that because it doesn’t include League Cup bookings?
