Utd v City post match

What a glorious win given what was on the line. They had their unbeaten record at the swamp, we were setting out to break the winning streak record in the league, and to at least maintain our 8 point lead.

To me the rags played like they didn't believe they could win. You could smell the fear. The second team in the league played their fiercest rival in a local derby for bragging rights, and basically played the same way that Huddersfield set up against us! They knew we had the better players and the better manager. On that issue it must have been grating for all those former United 'legends' like Cantona come out during the week and say that they preferred Pep to The Moaning One. Suck it up Raggies!

The facts is we outclassed them, and that was without even playing well!

Kudos to every player, particularly Ederson, KDB, Merlin, Ota (who recovered well from his error) and Sterling.

The upshot is that the game confirmed what everyone knew. They are light years behind us, and that will always remain the case with the Moaning One in charge.

I could listen to that all night. Pain in his voice

well people say there's a gulf in quality and we're a level above, might have something to do with this:

City signings since Summer 2015: Sterling, De Bruyne, Otamendi, Gundogan, Sane, Stones, Jesus, Bernardo, Mendy, Walker, Danilo, Ederson, Delph, Bravo, Roberts, Nolito, Zinchenko and others who have gone on loan.

Rag signings since Summer 2015: Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, Martial, Depay, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Romero, Darmian, Mkhitaryan, Bailly, Lindelof and Matic.

Surprised Noel hasn't mentioned the Jesus penalty, which although debatable was a damned sight more clear cut than theirs. There was definite contact on Jesus who was entitled to go down.
The real penalty was when Otamendi was pulled down in the box.

Anyone know what internet channel the camera crew were filming for by the Bridge on SMBW after the game? 4 cockney guys.

Pretty sure the penalty spot thing was at derby county?
You're probably right, maybe it's the white shirts I'm remembering, I'm pretty sure his blinding save was against Leeds though, something also tells me MOTD had save of the season in those days although I can't remember if Joe won it or not.
