Spurs (h) pre-match thread

Been on the spurs forum, they fkin hate us, with a passion. I hope we fuck them over I really do. Fkin moaning about how mch we spend and acting like they are Leicester sort of team with no money to spend just the passion of the fans to carry them to the title. They need to spend more instead of moaning about other teams spending.
 
Looking forward to this one as it will be a major test. We are at home which is a bonus, as Pep has stated there will be no complacency on our part. Sane will be fresh as will be Sergio who got his goal hunger back and looked bloody awesome again - he is going to be bang up for attacking the spurs goal.

The tests keep on coming and so far we havent let ourselves down, whats more is that the home crowd will be bouncing because Pep has brought the belief back.

It will be a tough game, but our quality will see us through this tough test.

Yes, but imagine if they had a turnover of a couple of hundred million (higher than Dortmund, Atletico and on a par with Juve) and a multi billionaire owner eh?
 
They are insanely jealous, not so much of the money I think, but more that for a few years now everyone has said what great football they play, but now no-one gives a toss about them because of how we're playing. Plus of course they can't actually win anything!

Someone should point out to their very bitter fans that their losses to Arsenal and Leicester, and draws with West Brom and Watford over the last month, are not in any way related to the amount of money Manchester City have spent on players. No Spurs fans, they are related to your team being shit. But we understand that you don't want to accept the truth, so try to deflect blame. Mind you, when you haven't won the league since 1961, I suppose you're allowed some bitterness.

I think you would find that a lot of City fans,over 40 hate them the most of the cockney teams as well,81 always brings back painful memories,plus they are shit bag fans as well.

Like last week,Spurs always used to be a game which set the nerves in before we played them,but not so much these days for me,and I'm confident we will do them tomorrow as well

Personally couldn’t give a rats arse about Tottenham..they are an underperforming nothing of a London club who’s last significant contribution to football was when Villa scored against us

Spurs fans are like "calimero". It's a naming used in Dutch football. It's from the kids cartoon series about a black chick with an eggshell on his head who always says "they're big, I'm small. That's not fair!"

Same goes for Spurs. Their fans all acting like they're holy saints who don't spend like we, Chelsea or the rags do. Credit for bringing in homegrown, English talent but they shouldn't act like this.

Easy said:
Spurs will be without two first choice defenders, Alderweireld and Sanchez.

Vertonghen is on 4 yellows and should be targeted. Then have Burnley away next and will likely find themselves below Burnley in the table after this weekend. He would be a major loss for Spurs in a very important game in the battle for top 4 so will be instructed not to get a yellow card under any circumstances.

We need to start Sane-Aguero-Sterling, rest of the team picks itself.

Spurs have regressed since last season so I’m confident we’ll win. What have they done this season??!?? Lost to Chelsea, rags and Arsenal in the league. Beat Liverpool 4-1 thanks to two horrible mistakes from Lovern that directly led to goals which happened only 12 minutes into the match, yes 12 minutes and Lovern was later substituted in the 30th min. Yes they beat Real and Dortmund both of which were terribly out of form. Not much of an achievement really. Out of the league cup despite going up 2-0 against relegation battling West Ham. They are bottlers. Won’t be an easy game as they hate us and will treat it like a cup final most likely, for them this will be chance to win an imaginary trophy of ending City’s winning run given they won’t win any trophies again this season and will see an exodus. I hate Spurs and hope we destroy them to be honest.
