I wasn't surprised about their performance against Bournemouth the other day, and they (Bournemouth) deserved a draw out of that game.

Since Mourinho's antics after the derby the body language of United players looked disjointed, even when Lukaku scored his reaction said it all..... even the fans during the Bournemouth game was like what it was under LVG, and the empty seats were a reflection of that, even with their 1 million waiting list. Oh and not forgetting baconface sat playing on his phone out of sheer bordem.

Mourinho has a history of this, twice at Chelsea, then at Real and Inter, and this could be an extra dent in United's post baconface era.

As good of a manager Mourinho is he's very Manciniesq, in the sense that his style of play is built for success, then it goes to his head and becomes naive in what his players can actually achieve, and that it's never his fault.
It's what made Ferguson so successful at United, as he had elements of Pep, in that he had a style of football that made teams fear playing against you, he nurtured players to get the best out of them and gave United that belief and self confidence that they could beat anyone anywhere.

I'll be surprised if Mourinho is still at United by 2020.

I’ll give him until half past nine.

I'm sure there was a theory going around that he pushed for Moyes to make absolutely sure it went tits up when he left so he'd look an even better manager. I reckon he's fucking loving their demise tbh.

Yeah I'm a firm believer of that as well.... although I did hear recently Pep taking about how Ferguson tried persuading him to go to united before he went to Bayern, but Pep said something about Bayern always being on his radar, and I think City was nailed on when Txiki and Soriano came in.

I imagine Pep would have looked at the squad ferguson was leaving for the next manager and wouldn't have touched the job with a barge pole no matter what other options he had.

Watching those post match interviews they do with fans on You Tube - very very funny - Maureen bought the wrong players, picked the wrong tactics and set them up wrong to play us - other than that all was well - it seems we have limped along for 3 or 4 games now nicking wins - funny we are doing that without the need for Fergietime too - they have such a warped view of the world.

Also - they are a one man team - Pogbad was missing ergo they lost - then in the next breath when Bale ( the new Sneijder ) eventually comes their Phoenix will rise................ yeah right

They have 38 points from 17 games. That's title challenging form in all past seasons. They are not in some decline as we think, but looking so much inferior in comparison to City alone. Last season they were permanently at 6th, now they are solidifying 2nd spot. That's surely an improvement, even though nothing special.

They have the best defense already. They only need Griezmann, Bale and 2 decent fullbacks to seriously challenge us next season (unless Mou implodes and runs to PSG).

That's about £300m. Their centre backs are quite poor and would be badly exposed if they did have to attack and fit Bale & Griezman in.

They need a new manager and about 5 players to catch us.

Don't forget we'll likely add Sanchez and centre back or two & a world class centre mid. We also have the added bonus of being a club in total harmony with players desperate to join us.

Ah yes the great redeemer himself Gareth Bale...............the only player on the planet whos injured more than vinnie!!

Wouldn't blame him to be honest, he's been impressed with us when asked, and as big of a **** he was he does love football, so watching us is probably how he envisioned united to play after he left.

Not a chance that this was what he envisaged, he is of the character that he wouldn't ever "in his lifetime" want the rags to have any serious success as this would detract from his legacy, he left an aging team and had Wee Davey put in charge, that says it all....

Yeah they're turning a blind eye to a few things there, the most important being Madrid don't lose players they want to keep...

It is not just about them signing players though is it......

It is the style of football they play. Would any world class attacking player want to go and play the shite maureen does - nope unless they throw huge money at them. Put Bale and griezmann in that side, we still win hands down all day long.

Some seem to think that united will sign this and that, what will we do sit still ????

They are so far behind not just on the pitch but off it - it is laughable

Eric Bailly's out for three months. Shame for the fella, but at least now the fans have an excuse every time they lose for the next 3 months.

They are fecking distraught. Check out the number of City threads on Sad Caf. Goddamn fornicators. Thank you forever, City!

Dear mods, i know we are not supposed to wish harm or injury on players but considering Pogbads remarks recently, can we be allowed a little smirk.

Just seen a clip of Mourinho's presser on Sky, amongst clips of all the various other managers.

Talk about the 'ghost at the feast'. Fucking hell.

Loving his 'not slept since last Sunday' look, though, I must admit. Black baggy eyes.

Or possessed by the Devil perhaps. Pure evil.

Pellegrini never looked that bad.
