Spurs (h) pre-match thread

I'm too nervous. Got a bad feeling we'll lose but to be fair I've had the exact same feeling for our last 4/5 games lol

I can't see us losing any midfield battle. We'll have Dave, KDB, Fern, Walker and Delph in midfield for most of the game, with Sterling and Jesus dropping back as needed. I think that battle is won already. We'll control the game I think and get many, many chances. The question is whether we'll take enough of them and whether we'll contain Spurs on the break enough. I fear they'll score a couple and we need to score 3 or more.

I am resigned to them scoring and ali being a diving prick so a few free kicks and maybe a pen,i'm certain if we dig in we can draw or win though
 
Too much respect being shown to the spuds, the more they come at us the more we will punish them.
 
Part of me thinks we'll win 3-1, but then another part of me thinks the "Harry Kane Team" comments will come to haunt us as Spurs win without a Harry Kane goal, or something shit like that. Nervous, but looking forward to what should be a good game of football.

What part of self sustaining don't these people understand?
 
I'm sure the boys must start to feel it soon with the amount of effort gone into this run but I just don't see it Pep seems to have them so motivated.

Tough game today but Spurs have played Champions League so they will be equally as tired as our boys.

We are better than them so fingers crossed for a decent referee.
 
Wouldn't it be nice if we've beaten Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, United and Tottenham all before Christmas.

I can see a footballing spectacle today, and a 5-2 victory for us. They will play football and press us, but the difference will be that we will play better football at a higher tempo and press the living shit out of them.
