Spurs (H) Post Match Thread

In the car this morning I caught the tail end of a conversation on Talk Shite about diving. There was the suggestion from Danny Murphy that KDB dived for the penalty- did anyone else hear this ? Apologies if posted elsewhere but I couldn’t see this.

Also he started off AGAIN about teams not going in hard enough to stop us. Not advocating violence but he would be concerned if his team wasn’t picking up yellow cards against us.

he has been saying that for a few weeks now,i think he would be happy if we had 2 players in hospital today with broken legs

Too many words. Should be "Herman Munster is weird". Why do the BBC employ him? His analysis each time he's on MOTD/2 is not very constructive. He's like the Paul Whitehouse character from the Fast Show. Every week it's "Int Hazard brilliant" "Int Rashford brilliant" "Int Coutinho brilliant". Shows how much his opinion is valued that Wee Davey didn't invite him to join his backroom staff at West Ham. He's hanging on the coat tails of his more famous brother.
The intonation in his voice is comedic, his co-commentary even worse. Don't the BBC ever ask the question 'What does this guy bring to the table' ?

Pure class, best of all for me was the way City dealt with the high pressing of Spurs and not retaliating against the vile twats trying to kick us off the park.. The fitness of our team is staggering too.. The pundits have been shouting from the rooftops that any team that presses City like Spurs did will get a result, Saturday showed the rest of the league that our one perceived weakness, doesn't actually exist.... Glad that twat Murphy has been proved wrong too, leave it all over City he advises, Spurs did in spades and were annihilated....!!

Murphy has basically been saying kick City to fuck and get a few yellows and that will stop us.
He's just a little twat who jealous that he wouldn't have been good enough to be a ball boy at City.

Listened to the Football weekly podcast and Phillipe Auclair said he spoke to several Spurs players after the game, and they were almost shell-shocked at how big the gulf in class was between the 2 sides.

I imagine that's exactly how Pep wants our opposition to feel after playing us, it must be completely demoralising when it comes to a title race or any cup games we play in the future.
