Alexis Sanchez

I dont fancy Sanchez ,looks too moody/egotistical/mardarse , might easily upset the morale , looks more like a united player than a city one
My thoughts exactly. If it ain’t broke...

...well one of our CB is so I’d get cover for him at least this window.

If he's going to snub every other club and he's off the arsenal players Christmas cards list, Offer £5 million for him or just wait until the Summer. Who gives a fuck, it's Arsenal's loss either way.

Sanchez does give a fuck for sure, no?

It seems he is unhappy at Arsenal.
It seems the only club he wants to be is where Pep is right now, subbing the rest.
It is said he wants to play any match. Why should he wait half a year and miss silverware and celebrations, things he loves so much?
In the best years of his career.

And the club he wants to play for, who is trying to sign him now, should say,
"Now look Alexis, before we hand 30m to Arsenal in January, we give it to you as a signing-on fee plus crazy wages in July." ??

Wouldn't Alexis be fuming that he has to wait another fuckin half season and miss out anything he desires?
Would that be a perfect fundament for his stay at City?

I cannot see the logic to wait till summer.
Question is, does Pep want him or not. I think he does.

I don't know about the source of that Mirror article.
But to me it seems it does play into City's hands in terms of getting down the transfer fee in January.
The bust up story is the next bit to assure Arsenal that Alexis is useless for them, to say the least.

Fuming or not the man is supposed to be a professional. Imagine a surgeon being denied a move to a top private hospital due to his commitments to booked in patients. Would you think it reasonable if he sulked and performed badly in operations?

That is the most strawman of strawman arguments ever been put forward.

Great comparison mate! Move on to the surgery threat.

I was trying to figure out what Alexis might feel like. Empathy and stuff, you know?
What would you do if you were him? (Not to be mixed with: what would you do.)
Get back to my points if you like.

Sanchez gave a fuck in the Summer, didn't help him get his move. If Pep doesn't want to upset the morale we have then Sanchez can only lay the blame at the Arsenal board if we've decided that ship has sailed.

Lol that is a bad post even for bm

Why?
IF Arsenal would be ready to cash in now - what I do assume but we don't know yet -
but City would prefer to sign him on a free in July for financial or whatever reasons,
why should Alexis blame the Arsenal and not the City board?

And this "morale" topic is completely non-existent, just forget about it.
If you have followed the way Pep is talking and working and behaving
and also regarding the underlying visions of Soriano and Txiki for the CFG Group,
then the only existing reason to fear a loss of morale in that squad might be hidden in the old "fearing the worst and hoping for the best".
Which is ok of course.
I myself am able to fully trust Pep as I can see what he does for City.

Unless Arsenal severely drop their valuation I can't see it. He's free in 5 months and as good a player as he is, we have more pressing needs on other areas of the pitch. If they want 10-15m then sure, otherwise I'd say fuck off you made your bed, we will sign him for free in a few months.

We don't know what City's budget is or whether the rumoured fee for VVD is as high as stated (if we are in for him).

But we do know, that Arsenal are a bunch of money grabbing shithouses, so the idea of us not being arsed about signing Sanchez now & Sanchez being happy to wait & then come to us for nothing, may actually mean they offer him to us now, for a cheaper price than they were hoping to negotiate & perhaps we can actually afford to do both.

Yep, this too. Could see them begging us to do a deal for £20m on deadline day next month.

that works out at £5 million a month ,tell them to fuck off, give him to us for £5m or we will see him in june
I agree but think the club would do a deal if it was about £15m. Tbh the way they fucked everything up in the Summer City are probably happier to wait than do business with arse again.

For obvious reasons City have to say they are happy to wait.

That's why I was asking if Sanchez would be happy, too.
Finally he does play some role in this transfer...

Quite happy to wait until the summer, he's looked disinterested for Arsenal and it wouldn't be easy for him to suddenly up his game half through a season.

Wew, I didn't mean to upset you. Wasn't an attack. I didn't expect you to have read the whole thread or anything, it was just an observation about how nearly every time I check out the thread I've seen the question asked. As for answering it, it had already been answered for you so I didn't see a need to repeat.

Don't fuck with Charlie Brown.
