everywhere he's gone has been by "mutual consent". Don't think he'd resign and sacrifice a compensation package. DiMarzio said tonight that PSG is looking at Conte but that seems a terrible fit, whereas Mourinho would fit in perfectly.

I don't get why they would want him.

I don't understand why any club with money to spend, would choose a bloke like that, to spend it tbh. I could understand it with a lower club who hope that he might bring them status (which is really what has happened at Utd, to counter Pep, even though they will never admit it)

There is surely a less miserable, unpleasant option than Mourinho available for any decent size club & Utd must wish, if they are honest with themselves, they had just ignored Pep & City & done their own thing with a more enthusiastic, less depressive & horrible manager.

Poch currently in first place - 58% of vote, followed by Simeone, Giggs and Ancellotti all on 5% in their poll of choice for post-JM manager. Hughes grabbing a couple of sage-like votes to bring up 0.3%

I love this from the story :

But when life in the shadow of Pep Guardiola looks so uncomfortable for the former Chelsea boss, it starts to be regarded as a symptom of a wider problem.

Hahahhaaaaaaaaaaaa. And herein lies the problem for the twat.

This is very depressing news - hoping it is wrong and Maureen lasts for few more seasons and buys few more Pogba and Lukaku caliber players and put the rags on path to relegation.

This would be good news. As much as he's a target for disdain (rightfully so) and his team plays awful football, he's a bloody good manager. I don't believe any other manager out there would have this United team as high up in the table as he has them, and I don't believe anyone would have won them any trophies last season. There's nobody they can replace him with that would provide any IMMEDIATE danger for us.

United's "failures" this season are more down their board than they are Mourinho for me. There's something to be said about a club that when a manager who's won majorly everywhere he's been can't cut it at your club.

United's struggles make it so much easier to appreciate the way City is run as a football club.

Pochettino wouldn't have them winning anything for at least two full seasons before he sets things up as he'd like. I think he'd do well from there but I don't believe he'd last that long.

If Jose sticks it out for the season, I hear the Hammers' boss leaves at the end of the season. Could be the return of the Moyseiah.

Can’t see PEG resigning. Why would he forfeit the money?

I don't like him but he is over achieving with that average squad and would only get the sack in case they miss top 4 even then it’s questionable.

Pochettino won’t leave Spurs. Anyway can’t see the rags getting him as he would have to completely change all the players and would need two seasons in order to win something where they want a short term fix that wins something right away.

Lawton is another rag cocksucker based on his articles, methinks this is exclusive leaking from inside the rag bunker, Peg is clearly throwing his toys out of the pram and wants a fortune to spunk on some players in January and lines are being drawn.

Pass me the popcorn...

Hard to know what to want here. On the one hand I want the rags back out of the top 4 and that happened under moyes and van gaal.

I also love seeing the rags suffer under mourinho’s horrible dull footballing style but then it is effective enough to get them in the champions league each year.

At the end of the day you’ve just gotta appreciate what we’ve got in pep. What a manager!

If Pep was there and we had PEG they would be top of the league. Pep would have a front of Martial Lingard and Rashford playing better than PEG would be getting out of Sterling, Sane and Aguero,

And the irony is that he was brought in to overshadow and therefore disrupt and impede what they knew was our attempt at progressing to the next level when we appointed Pep.

He's engineering his own sacking! He's pissed off the players, he's pissed off the 670m fans, and now it's the board's turn. He's a residential cockney, although that is one of the qualifications these days for anything Raggy.

Meanwhile, Pep continues to imitate the Mona Lisa!
