the Alan smith being a blue ,he does the commentary for fifa, I think last years edition and he mentions in the commentary he was a blue

Only 5 didn't have us in the top 2, and 25 predicted us to win the league. We were quite overwhelming favourites amongst the pundits based on that.

Strange we have two prominent ex-pros in Alan Smith and Lee Dixon in the media, both boyhood blues yet you would never think it listening to them.
To be fair to Alan Smith though I think he is usually very fair on us. Praises us when we are good and criticises when we are bad. I can’t argue with him.

Never had a problem with Smith but had no idea until just now he was a Blue. Good to know.
On Saunders, I have usually avoided Talkshite but recently I have listened a few times on way home from games and he has certainly been full of praise for City when I've heard him. Also someone on there said in last week that Sane is his current favourite player, I think that was Saunders but I can't say for certain.

I have always enjoyed listening to Alan Smith when commentating on City as I`ve always found him to be very fair,as he is with most of his comments on all teams.Never knew that about Alan Smith.

To be honest here in the States Lee Dixon often commentates on the NBC games and he is extremely fair as well.Never knew that about Alan Smith.

Lee Dixon might have been a blue as a kid but he's very much an Arsenal fan now.

Yep. Some good forecast there from the pundits. Can't believe that many tipped us. More than double the votes from the next team on the list.

gotta agree, i find NBC streams for City games if i can, far far superior to listening to Sly or BT sports.

He was a city supporter as a kid and then having a long and successful career at Arsenal will have pulled at his allegiances
I very much doubt players such as Paul Dickov and Richard Dunne were City supporters growing up, but they are dyed in the wool Blues now
