He is one of the top 10 forwards in world football and there hasn’t been a player of his quality close to being a free transfer for I don’t know how long.

He ran it down to go to Bayern though, just like Sanchez with City.
So money wasn’t really a factor.
I think if both were to have kept their options open they could have demanded huge sums.
