Pellers didn't pay anything
You know what I mean dont be a smart arse - again lol ;-). I do think he's a good marker and very good if marking a big centre forward but he just cant control or pass a ball!!!! For 35-40 mil or whatever it was, that is astonishing! Tosin is a better bet in Peps system by far for me. But I'm not managing a team 15 points clear and in all 4 cups after xmas so I'll bow to that Guardiola blokes knowledge :-)

I dont want Evans, but I get a feeling that Tosin isn't rated by Pep. I do know that we cannot rely on John/Ota to remain injury free with so much of the season to go, and I'm not sure where Vinnie fits these days also regarding his availability

I get that impression about Tosin. If Mendy was fit it wouldn't be much of an issue as Fern could go in there and Delph or Gunda CM but I defo think we need cover there now as god knows whats happening with Vinnie. Evans seems the logical safe option I suppose and would get my full support but like you, I dont really want him :-(

Was he the giant that cleared Raz's lob? - He is a big unit but dont know how mobile he is for our style

Yes it was and he was everywhere in their defence last night. I was at the game so only found out today that he was made MOM on Sky. Couldn't be any worse than JFE and probably less than £30M. His size would be very useful against hoof it forward teams.

Tbf, as a confirmed ABJFE supporter, who has ridiculed the idea, I have to admit, he isn't as bad as those two were last night. He is quite simply, miles better in the air, for a start.

Some of the aerial stuff last night was pathetic, & even free, easy headers, headed down, or directly into the prefect area, straight to the opposition, to set up an attack.

Evans is, generally, on any kind of performance, better than that.

Still want somebody else, instead though.

I totally agree and think we need someone who will be dominant in the air. I think there is only Ota a d Vinny when it who can hold his own, as they're more aggressive than the other Stones and Mangala.
